Discounts on Suites?

Has anyone gotten a discount on a suite when a code came out? Thanks!

None of the suites at WDW are ever discounted, with codes of AAA rates. Sometimes you might find a code for a Home-Away-From Home resort, those have 1 and 2 bedroom accomdations, with full kitchens and washer/dryers.

The Swan and DOlphin discount their suites, same as any other room.

And they have some really nice suites.

Sometimes there are discounts on Coronado Springs Junior Suites. I have been offered one several times with an AP discount. Hope this helps!!

I was hoping to get a better rate than rack for the deluxe resort suites, like the Poly. At least there are some choices as mentioned in the previous posts.

Discounts are EXTREMELY hard to come by on suites (and I believe the higher-end suites are never discounted), but discounts on smaller, less expensive suites are occasionally available. I got AP rates on our "Honeymoon Concierge Room" at the Grand Floridian (it's in the main building concierge, but not technically considered a suite) and on our "Garden Suite" at the BoardWalk Inn. It was during value season, and I wouldn't count on a discount, but for certain rooms it can sometimes work out.

Poohlover is right. Swan/Dolphin has some great suites--really great if you want to spend lots of money. I know the swan has a king studio suite for $225 with the gov/teacher/nurse discount. I imagine the rate would be the same with AAA or Ent. Card discount. The king studio is just one big room, but they also have a 1 bdrm. suite, and I think that's about $100-$200 more.

As a FYI, often if you ask about upgrading to a suite at check-in, you can get a substantial discount. It's not guaranteed though.

I agree with Sherri-
Your chances of getting a discount on a suite are better with the Swan/Dolphin. I'm getting the AAA rate, as well as the new discount that just came out but that doesn't start until Aug. 13 and we're arriving Aug. 10 so they gave me a multiple rate and I'm staying CL.
