Discounts on preferred rooms?

Hi all! Florida resident annual passholder with a reservation for a preferred room at Coronado Springs this November (the week before Thanksgiving). Mom has an ACL issue, so preferred is best for us.

Do any of you experts know if Disney offers any type of discount on moderate preferred rooms? Or are these rooms typically excluded from offers? Thank you for any and all help!!!

There are rarely discounts in the month of November. That being said, the past 12 months or so have been anything BUT typical.....so, who knows. In answer to your question, IF there are AP discounts, they will have a set number of rooms in particular categories ( Preferred, Tower, Standard, etc...) for which you can call and ask if your category has any available. You won't be able to just switch to an AP discount room online....unless you fully cancel and then fully re-book the room under that discount. I hope this was somewhat helpful. It ABSOLUTELY is helpful! Coronado is my favorite moderate, a discount would have been an added bonus! I'm all set to call and apply a wishful discount if one becomes available. Gotta love that AP hotline! Thank you for the great advice!
