Discounts on merchandise in hogsmeade/diagon alley

I am thinking of buying a premier pass for my 8 day trip so I can get express pass every day after 4. Would a premier pass give discounts for merchandise in Hogsmeade/diagon alley? Specifically the interactive wands?

I have a regular annual pass and have no problem getting a discount on Harry Potter items. I believe that premier is the same. I haven't purchased a wand I would think you would be able to use the discount on that as well.

I've never had the Premier pass so I can't answer that for sure. We were not able to use our AAA discount anywhere in the HP stores, but we could use it in the main park store, where they sell wands as well.

Does the 10% for preferred work everywhere on Universal property - like hotels (Bula, Jakes, Sals, etc.)? Trying to decide if I can make up the $70 difference and plan to spend a lot of time at the resorts this stay (first adult only vaca)?

i know Islands honors the ap discount.
i would have to look at my past receipts for jakes/bula bar.

i thought they did but last october but don't know if there have been any changes on that.

you could call UO or the hotels direct and get current up to date info.

I called Royal Pacific and the 10% discount is available at Bula, Jake's, Islands, and Tchoup Choup, which is all I asked. I would assume (and assuming) that it will be taken at Sal's as well.

Preferred pass worked in all of HP stores. I don't think the any of the carts give any discounts.
