Discounts on Disney Cruise

Does anyone know if me being a DVC member get me any discounts for onboard DCL? We just rented some points in order to pay some of a great deal we got for a Sept. sail date. Any help would be great. Thanks

I am sorry but I don't understand the question. It is definitely cheaper not to use points to book a cruise unless you got them for less than $8 a point. As far as discounts on the ship? No I don't know of any but I would have to get out my handbook to check.

I was looking to get some point breakdowns for cruising during June or July 2006. I would like to know how many points per adult and per a child with ages ranging between 4 to 9. Category 11 is fine with us. We have two families of 4 and one family of 3 going.... Is it worth it to use points? Thanks!

Mike,
I was trying to figure it out and to use points seems like a waste. We ended up renting points and applying that money to the cruise. It just seemed to make more sense even at the lower points for 2006.
