Hello again everybody:D

I had to take a few days off because I found myself not getting things done because I had to have my "DIS" fix. You are all so wonderful and very helpful.

Are any of you Disney Club members? We have been the past few years and used the membership for room discounts. However, now that we just became DVC members we are wondering if we should renew our membership.

Im wondering if any of you find the DC membership useful for car rental discounts and park passes? I think now that we are DVC members we will probably be purchasing APs. We have never needed to rent a car, but we are flying into Tampa and staying with friends prior to our trip to WDW in September.

Any information would be helpful:sunny:

Thank you so much:D

We recently went through the same discussion - do we really need this card....
We renewed for a few reasons:
-you save $10 to renew vs. joining again after the card expires (we thought about letting it expire, then joining again when buying our next APs) and we figure that the Disney Magazine is worth at least $10.
-we were going to Disneyland in June, and the Disney Club offered a $20 saving per pass, which saved us $80 ( paid for the Card right there! yea!)
-we rent a car, mostly with National, and the DC Card has good Nat'l coupons
-restaurant discounts
:)

I kept my card. 20% off National Car Rental plus one free day saved me over $40 on my last trip. $15 off each AP. Free Disney Magazine, which I was buying anyway before.

I did have a 20% off reservation for CBR for 1 night in December before we move to BWV, but cancelled it when the codes came out last Monday (got about 36% off with code).

Thank you everybody. I think we will renew it. I hope its not to to get the $10.00 discount renewal fee.

:)

My DC expired in Feb and I didn't renew until July and still got the $10 off renewal price. Hope that helps.
