Discounts for non-DVC resorts?

We're considering coming in a day early and staying at Caribbean Beach. Just wondering if any of you know if DVC members get any sort of discount.

Also, would I make reservations through member svcs, or just call the general booking number?

No, we get no discounts at the non-DVC resorts, just the 25% off (when available) of DVC accommodations.

If you have an Annual Pass or a AAA membership you can often get discounts that way. Just call CRO and see what is available for your dates.

We had to waitlist two days for our trip in December, and have reservations at CBR using an annual pass discount. It's a pretty good discount. There was not an annual pass discount available for all the days of our trip, so we lucked out getting it for the two we needed! Definitely call and ask.
