Discounts For Cedar Point Hotels???

It looks like for part of our summer vacation we will go to Cedar Point. We would like to stay at one of their hotels, either Hotel Breakers or Sand Castle, but they're really expensive. I was wondering if anyone knew of a site where they offer discounts for these hotels. I tried Hotels.com and Entertainment.com, but no luck. I won't do Priceline, because you don't know what you're going to get.

We went last year and stayed at SandCastle Suites. Next time we'd like to go for those little cabin/cottages.
I know we got a discount of some kind. Did you try their website? Sometimes they have internet coupons.
Also, thre is a message board for Cedar Pont. They might be able to give you some advice. I can't remember the website for that either. Do a Google search for "cedar point message board" and see what you get.

Try this page and click on "packages" or "coupons". I think we probably didn't get a discount on the room but maybe a 2 for 1 on tickets or something for staying with them.

We went over Memorial Day 2 yrs ago and stayed at the Hotel Breakers. We practically walked on every ride except for a couple of the coasters. What a great park! My kids are spoiled now.
Hotel was nice but it is the convience that was nice. Also the beach at the lake was cool!

Enjoy, my kids keep begging us to go back.

Those hotels never discount due to limited seasonability! They give a small discount after Aug. 24th though. We went last year and stayed at Hotel Breakers. I wasn't overly impressed with the hotel. The inside needs to be renovated in my opinion. We stayed in a tower room, had a snoopy room and a horrible view of fire escapes and an alley. The room wasn't cheap either. I liked the convenience of being so close, but I think I would try one of the others. The cabins look really cute! I heard there is a 3 year wait for them though?!

We go to Cedar Point every year for a weekend--we love this park! It's very difficult to get discounts but you can sometimes in May or after August--these are actually great times to go because it doesn't get so hot then. We've stayed at the Breakers the last two years. The first time we had a regular room with a view of the park. The kids pulled chairs up to the window and watched the coasters--it was pretty funny, it looked like they were kicked back watching TV.

Last year, we splurged and got a suite with a balcony. We were right by the pool with a view of the lake. It was great! We went in May so got a slight discount on the room. We do love being SO close to the park...it makes it very easy to take a break during the day.

Can't wait for this year...I think my niece and her husband are coming along so we'll probably try a cabin/cottage this time around.

Also, you can request a...I think it's called a Getaway Guide...at the website. They mail it to your home and it has coupons for different things at the parks...including hotel discounts for certain dates.
