I saw this in the Travel Section of The Toronto Star on Saturday August 1. When you go to the Disneyworld.ca site, as is suggested, there is no mention of this special. I think it is the same as the "Dog Days of Summer Savings" special that Disney has advertised on the TBS television station and on the Disneyworld.com site. There was another thread ( Canadian Room Only Code - 8/29/04 to 9/29/04 ) that said that people saw the special on the Disneyworld.ca site on July 28 but when they went back to find it, it had disappeared.

I did do a survey but for what...........

I have signed up for their emails, etc. and have never received any specials etc!

As a matter of fact, I did that with the US site and nothing from them either? HHMMMM!

They don't send us emails, they won't let us have a Disney Visa.......

I smell a conspriacy!LOL

I went to and looked but didn't see anything.

No disney club, no disney visa, no ap rates and no cdn deals either but yup we're still going.

The code is BAJ and it seems to be back up on Disneyworld.ca. It's also up on Mousesavers as well ... But ... if you're an AP holder, the code EWK is active for September stays (8/29/04 – 9/29/04). I called this morning and saved $10/night off the first half of my stay. Yay!! So I didn't bother checking on the availability of BAJ.

I've got a discount by asking for a AAA/CAA rate from the CRO when making my reservation for November. Since this is Value Season, the discount was 15% but is normally only 10% in the other seasons.

I'm still waiting to see if any November codes come out and will call back to see if the rate is any better. But so far, this is better than rack rates.

I just booked on Saturday and got the CAA rate. I'm booking through DU so I'm not sure if that makes any difference. I'm waiting for the AP rate to come out!!

Sometimes if there is a day where the AAA rate is sold out, CRO will tell you that the rate is unavailable for your entire stay even though it is really only for one day. I have read on the resort boards that you have to ask the CM to check each day individually and that you can make separate reservations in order to get a discount on each room.

Last year I went into the Royal Bank and was going to get US traveller's cheques. the teller said there was a charge so I said never mind just give me the US and I will go to CAA She stopped and said never mind there will not be a charge. I questioned her and she said that if you say you are going to go elsewhere they will do it for free.
Another time they were selling raffle tickets for the Children's
television network and I bought some of the tickets. When I went to get my travellers cheques she said Now how can I charge you for them? And did not charge me. SO I think it depends on the teller and what they want to do/

I forgot to mention that there was only a CAA/AAA rate available on concierge level for our dates. Standard rooms were at regular rates. I would have loved a 15% discount on the standard rate, but with the discount on concierge, we are able to get all the benefits of concierge for the same price as waterview room. So we decided to go for it. I am still checking for any discounts for Canadians or regular monthly codes, but chances are someone will beat me to it and these will be sold off, even if they do become available. To me, any discount is better than nothing.

I used EWP (AP code) and saved nearly $450 off my reservation at the Poly. I'm so glad they released codes ... For a little while I was thinking Disney had forgotten about those of us going in October

mom_rules.... perhaps you will get lucky like I did.... my t/a wasn't in till 10am and she managed to get me WL woodsview for $164 for the 21st of Oct (day tagged onto our 5+2 deal) Sure does beat the original CAA rate of $255
