Discounts during Easter Week?

My DH and I will be at WDW the week of April 4 - 11 and I wonder if there are ever any AP discounts or other codes available during that time? Historically speaking, of course. We will be leaving the day before Easter.

He has never been to WDW during such a busy time, the busiest he has ever seen it was 2nd week of July. He is in for quite a surprise!!!

In 2001 the week before Easter we got what I think was an upsell, at CSR, but I'm not sure, whatever it was it took us from AllStar Movies at $104 to CSR for $94, maybe it was a different discount. Anyway that trip we got the entire time period. In 2003 We got there the Sat before Easter, and stayed at the Swan with a AAA discount rate of $167.50 (we could have gotten a cheaper rate if we arranged it earlier) for 5 nights, and then swithched to CSR on an upsell from Allstar movies. AS was to be $109?, and we got $129 for CSR. Tried to get the entire period at CSR, but could only get the upsell for the last 3 nights. Good Luck!! (In the two Easter times we have gone I haven't found the crowds all that bad. I would rather deal with a few more people then the rough weather of mid July)

I am trying to plan a trip also for the week before Easter, 2004. I think Easter is April 11. We went in 2001 and arrived in Disney the Friday before Palm Sunday. I absolutely LOVE that time of year at Disney and am also hoping that I can get some kind of discount. In 2001, we were able to get an AP discount before the black out for the holiday. We paid only $240 for the Polynesian Concierage-garden view! It was great. I doubt I will get that kind of discount again. I remember I orginally booked with the Contemporary with a DC discount and for garden view room it was something like $325. I called later on and wanted to see if there was a good AP for the Grand Floridian and was offered the Polynesian. With the concierage, I couldn't pass it up.

Any imput on this topic would be welcomed by me as well. Thanks, Carolyn
