Just spoke with CM. Able to save $700 on a CL stay at the CR. Only a few days met the discount criteria (we are staying past 6/14). What a nice way to start the new year.

I asked for an email. Sometimes I don't receive them. Has anyone received a confirmatory email today after applying the code?

The Disney agent who made my reservation said they would send an email within 30 minutes, but that was several hours ago and I have yet to receive it. I did however log onto Disneyworld.com and put in my reservation number and other information and it came right up which put my mind at ease. Until I see it in writing, I have to worry!

When I called this morning the CM told me I would get a confirmation email in 6-8 hours

The email actually arrived about 20mins after the call ended.

Well...I was just playing bingo on pogo and it is advertising for the room rates to be booked at this very moment. So, my guess is, as usual, you have to cross your fingers for the most knowledgeable CM's. I have decided to wait and call since I can not decide on which hotel and when.

Can anyone tell me if AK is worth the stay or is Poly a better choice?

Thanks! I did check the website shortly after I got off the phone with the CM and the price was updated.

As a side note, the website has always been a little goofy. I originally booked the Contemporary Resort in Feb 2010 for our June 2011 trip. When I logged onto the website, the reservation showed I was staying at the CR, however it showed my room type as a 2 bedroom villa. Of course there is no 2 bedroom villa at the CR. The email confirmation shows the correct info: Club Level with theme park view. I also confirmed this information with the CM at the time of booking and this afternoon when I applied the code. The website now shows the updated price after applying the code but still shows the 2 bedroom villa. I would just like to have the updated email reservation information for my peace of mind.

I have stayed at AKL but never the Poly, I liked AKL but I tend to prefer resorts that have everything under one roof plus I love Boma's for breakfast

If you are looking at the later dates 8/16-10/1 the Poly and AKL are both only offering 30% discount , whereas the other Deluxes are 35%

We are doing CR for the first time because of the monorail which you would have at the Poly, AKL is all buses something else to consider.

In the past, unless it specifically says a resort isn't included, it's included. The only thing that might prevent it is if POP has only a few rooms allocated to that discount and they get snapped up quickly.

I was originally going at Spring break but have had to change my dates but if we check in on the June 13 th will the percent off room discount apply to my entire stay or just the first two nights?

I called my travel agent and she won't even attempt to have the discount applied until Monday.

My travel agent e-mailed me first thing Saturday morning that she had just applied the new discount to our package. She also e-mailed me the confirmation. Gotta love her.

That's correct. Many times the room only rates are the best at the deluxe hotels (factor actually paying for the DDP if you compare to the free dining offer) and then you can buy tickets at a discount from Undercover Tourist. Not always the cheapest option, but that's the way it usually works out, so be sure to do the math

It should be valid for 6/13 and 6/14. Doesn't hurt to ask a CM or two to see if it can be applied for the whole stay, but it is supposed to be just the first two nights.

We're supposed to check in the Sunday before Memorial Day, but can't decide if we want to spend the extra dollars and drop CSR with free dining and book a deluxe instead.
