I would try calling tomorrow. Im not staying in a villa, I have theme park views at both of those resorts I listed.

I called because I didn't even read all the way to the bottom about them not being active until the 3rd until after the call, LOL! But the YW3 code worked, so Im all good!

Oh and in regards to September and October, I would definitely do October rather than September. Just came back from a September trip and was annoyed by the love bugs!! I paid extra for a AKL Savannah View with a balcony and I couldn't even keep the balcony door open because they don't have screens on them, so the love bugs kept flying into the room and they were ALL OVER the curtain!! It was really gross, so I just closed the door the whole time. It was even annoying when I was on the balcony cause you'd sit down in a chair and squash them with your back cause they blend in with the furniture, or they would just be flying all over and landing on you.

Well I read what was posted, but thought I would call
Girl I was talking to was able to give me a discount. Maybe I should do the math. Lol
She said the dates were from the 14th of aug too.
I booked aug 15-17th a two bedroom villa at kindianni villas. Standard room for 928 for the two nights.
Then we booked the next two nights at the yacht club regular room for 520 for those two nights

I just ran my numbers on the package I currently have booked if anyone is interested.

1. Current package: 5 guest, Sept 25th - Oct 2nd 2011 at POR w/ 5 day base tickets and water parks and more added. Also the free DDP on this package.
Total Price $2817

2. Same package with the 25% off the rack rate at POR, but no free DDP of course
Total Price $2396
A savings of $421 over the free DDP package

3. And for fun the same package at the Poly with 30% off rack rate
Total Price $3684
A increase of $867 over the current package

Option #2 is tempting but losing the free DDP to gain the $421 room savings of option #2 would mean I would have to take that $421 savings and feed my family of five for 7 days (number of days we have the free DDP) for around $60 per day to break even. Something tells me that is not going to happen at WDW

If the free DDP was attached to Option #3 at that price I would gladly pay that difference I think.

I was worried if the DDP was better than the room discount for my family and now I know so thanks for the info! I guess everybody has to crunch their own numbers to see.

Definately call in the morning. I called (hadnt noticed the 1/3) part and the code was able to be used. The first code is for the dates up till April and the second code is the one for dates up till October.

I am very happy Staying BWI Deluxe Club level for 3 adults 1 child, and the discount applied so they knocked a little over $1800 off my ressie. Woot !

Just reporting my experience...

Tried first thing this morning. I was not able to use the code for my dates in May. Tried both codes listed just in case. CM said one of the codes was for FL Resident Deluxe Dining???

She was very nice and even checked to see if any pin codes were attached to my name (none). I will try calling one more time a bit later as in the past I have been given incorrect information only to later find out I was right.

We called this morning using the code "YW3" and it worked. To all those who are getting cast members who say that the code is not working than try calling again because the code mentioned above did work (we used it for our stay at the Grand Floridian in May).

Just called to see if I could apply it for our stay in May at VWL. At first the CM wasn't sure what it was. He said it was valid but he had never seen it before and then put me on hold. He came back after a few minutes and told me it was in conjuction with AAA and if I wanted to apply it I would have to cancel my package, pay a fee, and rebook a room only? I guess I'll try back again later or Monday. He also said I could call AAA and they might be able to apply it.


Update: I called back and spoke to another CM and she was able to apply it. If you don't get it the first time make sure you try again! (She said that I had a discount already applied to my ressie, but this was bigger. Since there hasn't been any discounts for my dates yet I think the first CM put in a AAA discount or something)

I have my room only like I previous posted. So the YW3 worked for that.

I also tried to get this applied to an existing package booked with DIsney to see if it would work and was told by a CM that YW3 was a AAA code and I could book the package with AAA and see if they could apply it to a package.

They also said that the other CM shouldn't have booked my room only with the code because it is not supposed to be valid until the 3rd. The CM that booked my room only never stated it was a AAA code.

Was your original reservation package, or was it a room only? If you and I are getting correct infomation (that YW3 is a AAA code), a Disney CM shouldn't be able to modify a package with a AAA code, but they can do a room only.

I don't think she did, I think she was just saying that its like adding 20% to the AAA discount or something. I understand what she meant now.
