Orbitz discounts both POFQ and the Little Mermaid rooms at AofA. You just have to check and keep checking when a promotion is offered by either orbitz or Disney.

I never used orbitz before this is the 2nd time I heard this, how does that work? Because I already booked through Disney

I booked POFQ for this November using the fall savings discount but after reading here I learned that Orbitz is offering a discount savings too (it ends tonight). So I just canceled the reservation I had made directly with Disney and booked through Orbitz for a savings of $170.00. A big thank you to the poster that mentioned the Orbitz discount!

The only thing that worries me about that is what happens if Disney comes out with a better deal you have to rebook with Disney ??

Our dates are November 14-20 and I have until November 9th to cancel with no penalty.

Do you know if you can add the dining plan if you book through Orbitz? Also is the payments made to Disney or Orbitz direct?

I'm sorry I don't know about the dining plan and if you book through Orbitz you have to pay the total amount. (Or at least I had to pay it.)

as far as I've seen, it doesn't get a fall discount! we booked 8 months ago and when the discounts came out...we weren't included. It doesn't really matter that much though, we had already planned out our expenses. Our T/A told us we could get Coronado Springs for $600.00 cheaper...don't want to stay there. Good luck!

We got an Orbitz discount on top of the Disney discount this year in early February.
