Discounts and marathon weekend

Hi,
Can anybody tell me if they remember if the discounts that come out in January, either a room only discount or the stay and play one that's been offered in the past has had blackout days over marathon weekend?
My sil wants to take their first trip and check in on the Saturday of marathon weekend. I rather check in before if there is some kind of discount code out there at that time.
Thanks a bunch....I'm just trying to figure out when I want to book our trip.

Last year for marathon weekend we used the stay, play, and dine package deal. I do believe that there was also a room only discount. You can search historical disney world discounts and find a whole chart.
