Discounts 20-30% off Disneyland hotels August 6-Sept 29

I made a reservation yesterday (forgot the sale didn't start until today). This morning, I called about 8:00 and was put on hold. I went online and could see the sale so booked new rooms at the sale price but stayed on the phone so I could cancel the others.

As I went to book my 2nd room, I noticed under special offers, it said AP summer special (or something like that) but clicking on the link took me to buy APs. So when I got the CM on the phone (after about 25 minutes on hold), I had her convert my 2 new rooms to the AP special (FPs and $20 dining cert) and cancel my old reservation from yesterday.

Thanks for the head-up on this. I already have the 30% off at the GCH but I'm going to see if I can add/switch to the AP offer that includes the FPs and the dining certificates.

YES!!!!! I was waiting for this! We'll be at DH Sept 17-23! I just got off the phone with a cast member. I was on hold for 20 minutes, and then the call itself took another 10 minutes. But it was worth the wait. We're saving over $500.

I'm a little disappointed in my Disney Visa Card. I never received the email about the offer. And I was traveling for work last week, so I was too busy to check Disboards every day like I always do.
But all is well! 61 days and counting!!!

I had previously booked DLH through Orbitz, rebooked it today with Travelocity and shaved $200 off my 3-night stay while upgrading my view! The INSPIRE code will get you 15% off at Travelocity on top of Disney's discount. You'll need to prepay in full but it's fully refundable if you cancel.

I had a Walt Disney Travel Company package for 6 nights in August at the DL Hotel premium view. I called at 7AM because of this board. The offer was not even in the DL reservations yet or on the website. The cast member was great and I converted the vacation package for me and my nephew to a hotel reservation. I had to lose $70 travel package insurance but I have a DIsneyland Hotel Reservation now and I saved $700 if I stayed with the package I only would have saved only $300 dollars. And that includes my nephew's 5 Day hopper. I have an Annual Pass. It was explained to me that the vacation package had savings up to 25% but the hotel reservation had to be that amount 30%. The vacation packages have a smaller allotment of available slots for the late summer offer. WHile the hotel slots for the offer are limited but much larger than vacation packages. The Annual Pass offer had to go to 30%. I was on the phone for 50 minutes. It was worth it.

I wish everyone a great trip. These boards are the best.

I said I'll buy you one! Kids! We are getting Fast Pass tickets and $20 food certificate to use instead. Better deal. My nephew can eat!

Despite what the offer says, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom suites ARE included in this offer at both DLH and GCH. Woot!!

Offer says:

• Savings based on the non-discounted price for the same room at the same hotel for most Sunday through Thursday nights from August 6 through September 28, 2017.
• Book from July 18 through September 28, 2017; travel must be completed by September 29, 2017.
• Room types included in offer are Standard, Premium, Deluxe and Woods/Garden/Courtyard rooms; and only Artisan, Junior, and Regal suites.

But I can see discount on all suite types! Get booking!!

I know it gets some dining certificates but uncertain on how many and what(how many) fast passes does it get. The bump to 30 % off the room might make the math work. And is the 30% on any room? Sorry I did try reading on the special offer page but as I don't have a pass I could only get so far. We have 7 nights booked at DLH in a standard room, with seven nights it is dear enough, ugh. As a standard room we only got 20% off the room, that does not even cover the exchange rate of the Canadian Dollar, ugh! The AP offer just adds one $20 dinning voucher. You also get a FP for each person on your reservation.

I don't think the AP dinning discounts are going to make it worth upgrading, but you'll have to do the math. The deluxe AP gets a 10% discount most places.

It's the same discounts as the late Summer rate I believe - or at least my rate didn't change. Discount still only good Sun-Thurs. I think it's 30% at the Grand and 25% at the Disneyland Hotel (I could be wrong - I only paid attention to the Grand). It's one $20 dining certificate per reservation and 1 FP per person on the reservation (not good for WOC, F! or GofG).

ETA: I think it might 25% standard at GCH and 20% standard DLH.

FYI, if you can find a room on orbitz, you can stack the 20% coupon they have going. I booked DLH club level at the new promo price (25% off) and stacked the orbitz 20% off. It was better than doing the AP rate.

Yes, the code is GONOW20 it's good through 7/23 but has a limit of $150 off (you can make two reservations though and use the code twice)

You might have to. Separate Check-ins and outs. Call the hotel and tell them. They probably will do their best to help you.

I've never had to. I'll call orbitz and ask them to make it a continuing reservation and then I'll confirm when I check in. Sometimes I've had to do this when I can't all the nights I want because they are booked up and then I catch a cancellation

So I tried doing this but when I split the seven night up the per night amounts changed, not sure why so in theory I should have been able to gain $300 using their code, but it in fact it was only $250? Not sure why, either way I think I will do something as even at 250 that is 314 Canadian at bank rate so a bit more than that
