Besides having an AP, is it possible to get discounted hopper passes? Do the online ticket outlets sell the tickets at a cheaper price than Disney does?
If you're looking for PHs (with no plus options) then advance sales from Disney is the cheapest source. But if you're looking for PHPs, almost all of the online ticket brokers are cheaper than purchasing from Disney.
I like Ticketmania.com . The price you see is the price that you'll pay. They don't charge for shipping via regular US Mail and their prices are pretty competitive with others. They also offer great discounts on other tickets like DQ, PI, Cirque du Soleil and the various Orlando-area Dinner Shows.
I've been a couple of days researching this very matter. There are lots and lots of places to find discounted tickets. I found one for as little as $299.95 for a 7 day ultimate. Most seem to run around $317.00 which is still a good deal.
GoldenOldie, he central florida travel.com is the one I think I used last year, but my computer is sainf the page is ot availablr. Go figure.
Well, I just did it...I ordered my 4 day hopper plus tickets on-line through ticketmania. I've never ordered Disney tickets on-line before so I'm crossing my fingers that this works out. It's a good savings from the gate prices and for only $13 more we get the plus feature whick we'll use for the water park. I'll relax when I get them in the mail.
We ordered 7 day PHPs from Maple Leaf Tickets. We ordered them on a Saturday and got them in the mail on Wednesday, no problems. We'll be making good use of them next week.
Omar who runs the place offers excellent customer service. If you find tickets that are legitimately cheaper than theirs, they will match the price.
eeyore1226, you shouldn't have any problems with Ticketmania. They've been around for awhile and have a good reputation.
Just to clarify ILUVDXL's post--this is a 7 day PHP, not an Ultimate Park Hopper, which is only available to resort guests. I just wanted to clarify since the post used the term "ultimate" which can create some confusion (by mistake, I am sure).
Originally posted by ILUVDXL BethR, go to www.parktickets.net. $the $295.95 price includes tax, but not S&H Hope that helps. I have some others that run around $306 -$308.
I have never heard of this place before nor has anyone posted on it. That doesn't mean that they aren't legit but it's a caution flag.
Another caution flag is that their web site doesn't list an address and phone number that I can see.
And finally, the Disney gate prices that they list are not correct. They show a 7 day PHP having a gate price of $325.44 adult/$261.84 child but the current gate prices on those are $364.24 and $$291.81. That tells me that that web page hasn't been changed in at least two years.
If it were me, I'd stay with the known dealers who have earned excellent reputations.
