Discounted rooms and DDP

Can Florida residents book a room under a discount code and add the dining package? Or can you only add the dining to an undiscounted room?

I know you can't get the room discount from AAA along with getting the free DDP. But you can get the room discount if you buy the DDP.
In your case it may work the same but not sure.

Guests booking using a FL residents discount cannot add the DDP to the room only res or package.
As mentioned, guests can book a AAA Dining packge, with AAA.
