Yes citibank is limited....but there are partners who if you buy from it is unlimited. AND it took me what 3 years to get 300 in rewards at 1% off all purchases. (if i wasnt going to disney this wouldnt even be close to the same as cash, I just dont really shop disney anymore...but since i was able to take it off my room it worked out the same) With the Citibank, I reached 300 on gas and groceries alone (so one could mix and match citibank at gas and grocery another card like disney visa elsewhere) in 7 months, and some of my gas and groceries were purchased at walmart which doesnt count. Well yeah that may as well have been a year since it was the limit but if you compare that to the three years of putting everything I possibly could on my visa ... I had 3 times the reward and had it in cash to spend anywhere had I not been going back to disney. Now after my trip, If I stop using my disney visa (couldnt convince my hubbs of this) I'm going to be stuck with about $30 in rewards that can only be used at disney (this month had a couple of big expenses).
Bottom line
DISNEY VISA 3 years put anything and everything on it $300.
CITIBANK 3 years most gas and Groceries $900.
