Discounted Magic Bands?

Are you trying via the app or via the website? If you go to "Bands and Cards" on the website, something should pop up.

checked the website and the app, shows the bands from 2020 and no option to buy any others. the bands from 2020 are "active". The website shows that the MB order has shipped back in February 2020.
Not a huge issue but wanted to give the 2 DGDs the option to get a different premium band.

OK, thanks I will try that. we have 2 rooms, 5 people, I manage it all and did see that option to order for 1 Guest who is 1 of my DGD that is in my daughters room.

that link only let me purchase a band for that one person in the group and she has a premium one from last year's order. Guess I will just call at some point in the next 9 months or so.

When I use the app it links to my old bands (I have no idea where they are. I want the $5 ones. I cant order bands on the website. When I click "choose band"s it goes to this:

Unfortunately, those $5 bands are now $10, as of a couple weeks ago.

So you are using the "My MagicBands and Cards" dropdown on the website? And you have a Disney resort booked?

If so, try another browser. If that doesn't work, try incognito or private mode. It's working fine for me.

I saw in another thread that someone mentioned they were able to buy $5 magic bands through MDE app. I have everything linked but don't see an option to buy discounted magic bands? Is this something that is still offered and if so what do I need to do or where do I need to look?

After you book a resort stay, you can purchase discounted magic bands. They recently just raised the price from $5 each (for plain MBs, no design) to $10 each. They do have glitter and bands with designs available but they are more expensive.

I tired from my phone, different browser, different PCs, etc. I always get the same error. I called Disney for some reason my account is "split" and they need to merge them. The only thing I remember happening was my password had to be same as Disney+, but other then that all my other trips i never had this problem. They said thats why I cant order bands at this time. As of yesterday they said they fixed it, but still doesnt work. When I called today they still see 2 accounts. They gave me a "tech team" number but it doesnt work from my area. UGH! Just sent an email in...wish me luck!
