Is there such a thing as a half day pass for Disney World? My friend will not be getting in until about 5:00 but she wants to spend the evening at the Magic Kingdom with us. Will she have to buy a regualr one day pass to go to the park for just a few hours? She already has leftover tickets from pre-magic your way, so she can't just add a day and a single day ticket with the new system is so expensive. Just wondering. Thanks!

There aren't any half day passes. So yes she would have to spend full price even for a few hours.

Thanks. She told me she was "positive" there is a discounted pass for after 2pm or something. I told her she was wrong, now I have someone to back me up!

I know that I was offered an after 2pm pass when I was at a conference. I think this is the only way to get them. I don't remember how much I paid for it as it was about 2 years ago.

Hopefully that helps a bit

I do know you can get them if you know a conference code but I don't know how you would get ahold of one of thoes..

WOW. A one day base ticket is $63!!!! Guess she won't be joining us for just a few hours. Too bad I don't have a conference code.

I, too, was offered a conference (after 2:00) price, but it is strictly for those attending the conference. Maybe imm. families. I don't think there are codes, I think you have to show them your conf. # in person.

I vaguely remember Epcot offering discounted late afternoon passes to Florida residents. If she is a resident of Florida she might want to check this out.

This is a long shot, but when will you be there? I know of a conference in August.

We'll be there in 8 days. We wanted her to get to come into the MK just for dinner and Wishes. We changed our plans due to the high prices of 1 day tickets. We will now eat dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe and watch Wishes from the beach...oh well. Does anyone know which of the monorail resorts/where is the best place to view Wishes outside the park?

I was wondering the same thing about half-day passes. My aunt, uncle, and several cousins just returned last Sunday. My uncle insisted that there was some type of sign outside of MK advertising entry for $4 and that my aunt and uncle "extended" their 4 day passes to 4 days plus a night at MK and my cousin's family did the same thing the next night at Epcot. I've never heard of such a thing, but my uncle insists that this is what they did. Keep in mind that the same uncle was upset that they missed Anastasia (e.g. Fantasmic) - lol! Anyone ever heard of this before? I didn't want to correct my uncle (he is always right you see), so I just kept my mouth shut, but it seemed highly unlikely to me. :confused3

The Polynesian has the best nonpark view of the fireworks, but you won't get the total affect or the music unless you are at O'Hanas or Narcooosee's.

4th Floor Balcony at the Contemporary pipes in the music for Wishes. The view is ok, nothing special, but if that's the only way you'll get to watch Wishes...
