Discounted APs?

What is the cheapest possible way to get an AP (or voucher, since I wouldn't activate it till I got to WDW?). I don't have Disney Club (which isn't around any more any way). I don't think there is any other place to purchase one at a discounted price, but if there was, I figured someone around here would know.

I am seriously thinking about buying an AP (not Premium since we are not water park people and rarely go to PI) for our 7 day trip this December as we are also leaning towards going again in July of 2004 with friends. The cost of an AP would be approx. $70 more than a 7 day pass (which I know would include water parks, PI, etc), but would be a savings if we went again. But if there is someway that I can get an AP even cheaper, well...a girl's gotta try, right?

I believe the only place you can get annual passes is either through TDS (in person or online) or at WDW themselves. It would be cheaper to purchase them directly from a local disney store because they will not charge you for shipping. They sell them for the same price through disneystore.com but charge you for shipping. They are slightly more expensive if you purchase them at the gate.

These are you only options if you do not have DC as far as I know.

The price for an AP is the same no matter where you buy it. There is no advance purchase price on AP's. You'll pay the same price at TDS or by calling WDTC/CRO as you will by walking up to the ticket booth when you arrive at WDW.

And the shipping price from Disney is only $3 per order (not per ticket) so it's hardly a deal breaker.
