I agree, I didn't like how it was handled. My daughter almost lost it several times, but she's persistant. I think their goal is to beat you down until you walk away. Take a deep breath and try again. I'm cheering you on!
Did your daughter ever receive the refund? We had PMed a few times and I was wondering. I hope so!! Ours just took the 2 1/2 weeks from when we started the process with the email and a GREAT CM!! (very bad time before that)
My daughter got the confirmation email (she thought she would never get it -- took about 2 weeks). She just packaged up all of the info this weekend and mailed it on Monday. So now she waits. How long did it take you from mailing your info to actually seeing the refund. They are suppose to refund it back to her cc. They confirmed her cc number in the email. Thanks for asking. I agree, they did not make this process very easy--esp when it was their fault for starting a promotion and not mailing at the cards before the promotion began.
On 6/20/09, I used a discount card I received from a disboards member. I was able to get full credit for my 7 day MYW with PH and WP that I got with the 4/3 promotion.
I did the upgrade at MK Guest Services and the CM immediately told me, "I don't do these very often and I left the paper with the instructions on how to do it at the Ticket Booth. I'm going to go get a manager to help me." She came back quickly with a Mgr who walked her through the process.
The whole transaction took only 10 minutes and the cost was exactly what I calculated, with some help from Cheshire Figment!
So...I paid for 4 day tix, got credit for 7 day tix and got 10% off the cost of the APs.
A terrific deal!

Nope - nothin'.
And my DH is P***ED. He has the day at home tomorrow, he's already called 3 times over the weeks since May 1 plus several emails so tomorrow........he is spending the day on this. He is going to get this resolved, somehow. (please send pixie dust his way -- I have not seen him so upset about something in a long time.) If anyone has any suggestions........please, PLEASE tell me. I really don't know what to do. We'ce followed all of the protocall...................and nothing.
Has anyone received the 10% discount AND received credit for a 1 day MYW ticket? I only purchased a one day ticket and I was just reading the Passholder Savings FAQ and it mentions a "multiday" ticket. Thanks in advance.
