Hello everyone -- thank you to those of you who have pm'd me and especially to n2mm. Thank you for all of your good wishes.
This has been the biggest nightmare.
An update: my DH has talked to at least a dozen people who weren't any help at all. He has spent hours on the phone and email and even though we received a few emails in return from Disney, they were standard form letter emails and it was obvious that the persons sending them had not read our email. The replies had nothing to do with what we had said. (Thank you for your most recent visit -- hope you enjoyed your stay!) They told us two times that they have filled out a form to have them resent but we have never received them and they can't confirm they were sent. They can't confirm where they were suppose to be sent from.
n2mm pm'd me a phone number that we called. The person DH spoke with couldn't help but she promised - PROMISED -- to have her supervisor or the supervisor's supervisor call DH back that day. You guessed it -- no call.
So DH called again and got a hold of the very first person during the last two months who has been helpful -- and she said the mailings were outsourced and she couldn't have another mickey monitor/set of cards sent from Disney. BUT she knew someone at the outsource place and she'd get in touch with them. She even called back like she said she would -- the person she was trying to reach was out but she got a hold of their boss. She has promised to have them sent over night -- she will do it herself -- so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We'll touch base with her tomorrow.
That will help out some -- as I bought my annual pass in May. Now atleast we might be able to get that discount refunded.
However, now that they will be arriving late, I was suppose to send a card to another disser who was going to use it to buy 3 annual passes in July. She no longer needs our card so I'm out that $75.
The entire experience has been horrible. We are such a Disney loving family and haven't ever had anything bad to say about Disney. This has made me feel like Allen Funt is going to pop out .........
