Discounted Annual Passes - Information and Official Exchange Thread

I still have three left. If anyone needs them PM me or e-mail me.

I'll mail them right out.:goodvibes

What happens if someone gets a 10% off pass along card and the AP holder giving it lets their APs expire before the 10% card gets redeemed. Would the person purchasing their AP still get there discount? I assume the AP holder giving the card wouldn't get there portion of the offer. Hmmm.

I don't see any reason why they don't. I don't recall any language that said the referring AP holder needs to keep their AP active until any particular point - only that they had to have an active AP on April 30th.

(FYI - still one lonely, bored card that would really enjoy a trip to WDW and meeting a CM of the ticketing variety... :) )

I don't think the validity of the pass-along card is directly tied to the expiration date of the holder's AP.

There's nothing in the paperwork that says so, anyway.

I WISH Disney could have tied it to expiration dates, actually. How many of you would be using the pass-along to buy new ones for yourselves if they arrived the month your AP's expire? I know we would...

Possession of the card itself says that the bearer is entitled to the discount.

And I have seen nothing published that says a person must remain a passholder to get their referral fees.

My husband's AP expires this week and he is not going back til July so we are using one of our passes to get the discount for his new pass.

I thought I had people who wanted my cards and now that my MM finally showed up no one is getting back to me telling me they still want the cards!

If you want them please PM me.
Thank you!

This brought a question to my mind. Which is cheaper.....buying a new AP with the discount card or renewing your present AP????? :confused3

I think in most cases its a few dollars cheaper to use the card, but not by very much.

But if you can use your own card on yourself, then you also get the $25...

I have already gotten a discount card for my upcoming trip and have purchased my six day park hoppers. I plan on upgrading to an AP when we get there May 31.

Just wondering if anyone has used the discount card yet to upgrade/purchase an AP yet? I'd like to know how that went at the ticket window? Any problems?

I am really bummed because our Mickey Monitor came yesterday & we purchased new AP's for DH & I on-site on May 2.

I sent an email to ticketing with all my receipts but... :confused3

You can get a refund. My daughter bought her tickets on May 9th and spoke to a manager. There is an email address that you have to contact to get a refund. Maybe Cheshire Figment can help you. I'll try to get the email address from my daughter this weekend. You have to email them the voucher number and some other info and they will refund your cc.
