I surpriesed there are not many more going with the 4/7 upgrading to the NE tickets and requesting a card. Maybe some have and I either missed it or it's not known. I did see one persone with a 10 day NE but that's all I recall. We have 2 left and I think we will end up using one for ourselves. Our passes expire before July 31, ( and the 30 day window). I haven't seen much written on using your own referral (even if only one) We would be purchasing a new AP and there doesn't seem to be a restriction on that (or I missed it)

It seems many posters are AP holders with referrals not the other way around.. I think I will receive 4 more as well.

Hi everyone! I have 4 Passholder Savings Cards available if anyone is buying an AP or a PAP by July 31, 2009. It will save you 10% off the price of an new Annual Pass or Premium Annual Pass.

The AP/PAP must be purchased at any theme park main entrance ticket window. Each card offers the discount for up to 6 passes. This is a great savings for anyone considering getting an AP. Also, you can take advantage of the room only discounts for AP holders.

Yep, you and every other person on these boards it would seem. There is a huge number of people with these hand out cards over on the thread that gives the info about the discount. Just doesn't seem to be a huge number of people taking us up on our offers.

I find this interesting. I was curious as to why ALL of these people were begging us to take these cards and use them. I thought it was just the nicety of the boards, looking out for everyone. Then I found out that yall get money for every AP I buy with your card. Its kind of funny that there is no mention of this in any of the threads from people giving the cards out. Just kind of shady is all.

So just to clear the air, for every AP bought with one of these cards, the card owner gets a $25 gift card. I do not think this is a bad deal, we get a great discount, they get $25. But why not disclose all of the info involved in the promo when offering the cards. Just curious is all. Im not disputing that you should or shouldnt get the money, just a curious thought as to why no one ever mentions that part.

While I understand what you're saying, I can't for the life of me imagine why it makes any difference if someone gets $25 per card that is used. The user is getting a good discount so why not be happy that the AP holder gets some reward as well!!
In fact, all the info is put out there, in the informational thread that already exists. I'm sure most posters felt that the majority of people understood the situation. Nothing shady about it at all.

Part of the problem here is this board itself, in a way. It is home to so many people who might want these and could use them ... if they didn't already have an AP! If only there were a forum somewhere for people who aren't AP holders but wish they were ...

I read a thread and posted that I would like a couple and got 30 respnses from people fighting for me to take thiers. A couple even offered items to help entice me to take thiers. I found it odd that they would WANT me to take thiers so bad, so I looked it up and found out about the gift cards.

Then I noticed that every post about this promo was the same. No mention of the Gift cards. So I was just wondering. A study in human nature if you will. Now I know why people are so eager to get me to take thier cards. Just explains allot and thought I would see if anyone else noticed this. No accusations of wrong doing, not calling anyone out, not saying its wrong, no need to be defensive, just curious.

The very first post in this thread, which has all the details about the promotion, mentions the $25 gift cards. There is perhaps a wrong assumption that everyone would read that post. But I don't think anyone posting in this thread (at least the original thread) is hiding anything.

There is a mention of the $25 gift cards in the OP. I assumed that anyone interested in these discount cards would read the OP and get the details. Yes, if someone uses my cards, I reap a benefit as well but at this rate, I still have all 4 and I'm giving up. This will be my last post for now.
