Discounted Annual Passes - Information and Official Exchange Thread

We can always hope those people that are not on here everyday. :cool1:Don't give up yet.

Still have 2.

Denise in MI

The killer is that people are SELLING these on ebay and we can't give them away :rotfl: I wish I could contact the people bidding and say "come on over!" :rotfl:

PS. You might want to drop the line in your siggie about having them. This is the only thread is that is allowing offers to be posted. Other threads on the DIS are pulling people's posts about them and sending you a PM saying that you'll be sanctioned for it.

I was probably the first to do this, but I haven't heard from a moderator on it yet.

Anyways, I've only got a single one left. It's lonely, and deserves a good home. It's fully paper trained... :)

And apologies for the apparent snippiness in my earlier posts. I am actually home sick today, fighting off something (no, not H1N1) and the headache may have had control of my fingers for a brief time...

I have 3 Discount cards still available to anyone who needs one! Pm me if you are interested! I will mail them free to anyone who wants one.

Thanks

you might want to try alternative methods of giving these cards away. my work has a weekly newsletter with a spot at the bottom for things for sale. you could advertise them there for free. i put my last two cards on c r a i g s l i s t . com in the FREE section. so far i have gotten 3 emails. my advice is be very descriptive about what the cards are. i had forgotten that off the dis boards people dont know the difference between annual passes and regular park admission. out of 3 replies- i have one card going out. so its worth a try.

I'm down to 2 and I'm heading to the post office in half an hour!! PM me if you'd like one of them! :thumbsup2

Also, I scanned in the paper that the cards came with, figured some would like to see it on here. I'll enclose a copy of it to those I mail cards to. :thumbsup2

I posted mine on craigslist and it was removed right away. I'm not a regular so not sure what I did wrong.

Anyway - I still have 2 cards left. PM me if you would like one. Thanks!!

How do you post on Craig's list? I'm not a registered user so I have no idea - I've never been on Craig's list. I still have all 4 of my cards left. Nobody seems to want them. :sad1: If nothing else, I'll take them to Florida with me in July and see if I can give them away there.

You know, with all the highly questionable activity (to put it mildly) on craigslist, isn't it off the wall that your little offer would be pulled instantly?

update: I have no cards left!

Haha...isn't that the truth. I put mine on Craigs List too, and I'm getting responses, but they are kind of odd.

I think I found someone that understands and wants one but they don't want to give me their name (just an address) to mail it to. So I guess I should address the envelope to the persons e-mail address?

Oh, and I still have 2 to give away!

That said, I have one left! lol

I thought about Craig's List, also. Did anyone else have them removed?

I still have 4 if anyone wants them. I'll mail them out, just send me a pm!

:cutie:

So did mine...think they thought it was commerical advertising or something.

If you do take your cards to FL to give them away in front of the ticket windows, be sure to sign up for the sandwich board swap mentioned by two previous posters. ;) I cannot take credit for that gem.

Also, I think the "nobody seems to want them" with the sad face added, just might get you a pm or two or three.. wait and see... that was a very good, yet subtle approach.

And just so no one gets upset, I am just joking. I have found this thread so incredibly humorous. As we get more and more desperate to give away our cards, the offers to do so get more elaborate, and I have never had so much fun being so pathetic and I mean that in a good, fun, way.

From offering free priority mail to opening up your house to those you are trying to give the cards away to, to waiting outside Disney's gates in
Orlando to personally hand the cards to the prospective recipient, I can only say DIS'ers crack me up and I'm proud to be one of them.

My fear is that our desperation will reach a dangerous level and people will start asking us to mail them the cards just to make us feel better and prevent us from going off the deep end as July 31 draws closer and we still have cards in our possession.

And so in true DIS'erness, no one posts here without taking the opportunity to mention how many cards they have left. I am now down to 1!!! :hyper:

I have (2) 10% AP discount cards. PM me if interested.
I can put them in the mail tomorrow... no charge!

This will be my last posting of my discount AP cards, but I will continue to lurk on this thread. It's interesting reading material. :lmao:

I have 4 available. I will be at WDW tomorrow (Friday the 15th) and Sunday the 17th or I can drop them in the mail. Send me a PM.

Maybe I'll have to look into that sandwich board swap! Since this is a bonus for me - not something I expected to happen as a passholder - I really don't care if nobody takes them although it seems like such a waste when I know there are people who will be paying full price for an AP. I hadn't thought of my sad face being an "approach" but I like it.

And just for the record, I STILL have all 4!

My 10 year old cousin princess: has 4 to give away, if anyone would like to help her get some gift cards for her next trip. PM me and I will have her mom send them out or I will send them myself.
