discount when trip runs into holiday weekend

Our trip is scheduled for Jan 8 - Jan 19. This runs into MLK weekend at the end of our trip. We have a room only booked since we have annual passes.

If the weekend of the 18-19 is blacked out as a holiday but there is a discount leading up to it for the first 8-10 days of our trip, would we still get the discount rate for the first part of our trip but no discounted rate the last few days? Or would we need to check out at the end of the discount period and have a new reservation for the holiday weekend?

I know no one knows if there will be any discount offered at all but I'm hopeful. We went this past January for the Marathon and had a nice discount so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the same this upcoming January.

You would not need to check in/out or have 2 separate reservations. You will get the lower rate for those days and the higher rate for the blackout days.
