I know this board is about Disneyland, but do any of you know about discount coupons to Legoland. We are going to both Disneyland and Legoland and I know that sometimes restaurants run specials discount coupons. Also, is Legoland crowded enough that you have to run to all the good stuff first. Do you need a touring plan like at Disney? Thanks for any information. We leave Thursday.

You can print out a $7.00 discount coupon Legoland Website if you plan on going on either Sunday or Monday.

The longest line is for the Technic coaster, so try and do that first.
Make sure to walk all around the park. There are hidden areas that are fun to discover.

The weather should be nice for you this weekend. :sunny:

Thanks so much for the information. We will be there on Friday. I am really looking forward to the trip because my son is an absolute lego addict. Thanks

For the past few weekends you could find a coupon in the Orange County Register that gives you a free child's admission with a paid adult one. I found them in the entertainment section. I believe it's valid through mid-October.

AAA also offers a discount.

I don't know how Legoland crowds are at this time of year. We were there on a Sunday afternoon/Monday morning in August. Most of the crowds weren't too bad, but there were a few rides that should be done earlier, rather than later because they are slow loading. I think one was called the Skycoaster - something you pedal. The other was Spellbinder. Also, the kids driving schools were busy in the afternoon although I think the wait was still only about 1/2 hour.

I don't know the age of your son, but I will mention that a lot of the rides had a 40 inch height requirement. Still even if he doesn't meet that height, there are rides that don't have the requirement plus a lot of great play areas.

Your son will love it. We took a 6 and 3 1/2 year old who both had a great time.

We went to Legoland over Labor day weekend last year. Our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) sold park tickets at their front desk that you could turn in to guest services for a free return ticket that had to be used within 7 days. It also included a free upgrade to premium parking which was terriffic at 9pm with DS7's tired little legs. We went back on the Sunday morning and rode everything that had long lines the day before (esp. Sky Coaster & SpellBinder). Had I known we'd get 2 days for the price of one I would have planned a later flight; we could only squeeze in an extra 2 hours on Sunday before we had to leave to get to the airport.

I honestly don't know if this promotion is still running or what hotels participate, but it might be worth a phone call! Good luck!

We've always found at Legoland that because the park is targeted to younger children, that the crowds really clear out after dinner time. The lines have been virtuallly non-existent in the evenings. We always plan to stay until park closing to take advantage of that time.

Are you sure that AAA has a discount? We just joined AAA and haven't yet received our membership info, but I went to their website and didn't find anything on Legoland tickets :confused:We are headed there soon and any discounts we can get would certainly be helpful!

Looks like you are in Ct like me.

Yes, they offer a discount. You will have trouble finding anything about it in Ct. Write or call Legoland and they should be able to fill you in. It is only on 1 day passes, not two.

Thanks for the link, almostGoofy! The S. Cal AAA website had the Legoland info right on it. I did call Legoland to confirm....and this is what I was told:

10% discount on up to six 1-day tickets, purchase at the gate, simply show your AAA card! :p How easy is that!?!?!? :Pinkbounc

I just looked through my Entertainment book and found a discount coupon for Legoland. Save $7.00 off general admission (adult or child) for up to 6 people. It expires December 31, 2002.

If someone would like it, just send a PM.
