Read the fine print on the offer carefully. Most likely it states "For stays beginning MM/DD/YYYY." That pretty much excludes all trips that might begin before the promo period starts. However, as a PP mentioned, you could do a split stay with the first part of your stay ending on the day the promo begins and the second part beginning on that same day. But it is likely to cost you more in the long run, so do the math.
