Discount on Saratoga Treehouse?

Has anyone ever gotten a discounted rate on a Saratoga Treehouse Villas? We are going in late April of 2013 and are looking at THV as a possible option. It is a little out of our budget at the full rate, but if we get a discount, it would be fine. My FIL is retired military so if there are any military discounts we might be able to get that. If not, are the regular % off discounts usually applicable to the THV?

Yes, I received a 40% off pin either last year or the year before, and it covered the treehouses. We almost booked it, but changed our mind. I can't remember if they were included in GP offers though...

Got an AP discount for 12/22-23,2011 40% and we grabbed it. Fabulous room right across from the pool. Would do it again if we ever get another opportunity--too much, otherwise!

We got FD at the treehouse, and before we added the FD, we were using the military discount. The free dining was a better discount for us.

I've gotten a military discount for 40% off almost 2 years ago and another discount through orbitz/priceline that was almost 50% off (it's just listed as a room type for SSR). I think the THVs are really inconvenient if you don't have a car but are great if you do! Definitely an accommodation you should at least experience once. As with any discount, be persistent and check everyday if it's not available. A villa may open up eventually.

We are looking at April of 2013. If there is one available, would you suggest I book it now even though there are no discount currently, or should I wait for any discounts to be announced? FIL, who is also going, is retired military so military discount would be possible if they extend the current discount or create a new one.
