Discount on Refillable Mugs with DDE card?

We are going to Disney World in a few weeks and are staying at the Pop Century Resort. We have the Disney Dining Experience card. I know that you get a 20% discount on food and drinks in their food court. Does anyone know if the discount also applies to the refillable mugs?

I bought mine at the end of May and didn't get a discount. But it was the only thing I was purchasing. The person checking me out told me that if I had other food items, it would have taken the discount off of everything, including the mug.

Whether that is true or not, I have no idea. Maybe someone else knows.

The one we bought by themselves got no discount. The one we bought with breakfast was discounted. I don't know if it's always that way, but that's the way it worked for us.

I use to get the discount all the time on them (I have had my DDE card since 2000?). Last Feb was the first time I was told no discount. It was at Pop & I was also getting other things with it... She rang up my mug seperate. I asked to speak to a supervisior since that was the first that has ever happened to me. Supervisor told me that there was never a discount on mugs with the DDE. I have them from: Dxl & PO, as well as PO-R, POFQ, AS-Movies, Sports, Music (several versions of them), BC, CSR & CBR. My first set of mugs that came from Pop even had the discount.... I am wondering if they stopped it because there are way more guests with the DDE card now as opposed to when it was only for FL Residents? That may be one way Disney is trying to "save" money???....

We just bought ours @ Pop a couple of weeks ago (along with food items) and didn't get the discount on the mugs. As previously posted, the mugs were run up separately without the discount...then the food with the discount. We were a little disappointed as that's one of the reasons I got the card. Oh well...

Yes SSR sells mugs. They are really cute, blue with chip and dale on them.

Once upon a time CMs use to get a discount on mugs, but that all ended about a year ago.

You either have to be a FL resident or have an annual pass.

Officially, they no longer give a discount on the mugs with the DDE card. That doesn't mean you won't ever get a cashier that won't give you one, but they seem to be pretty on top of things (i.e. - no discount). They used to have one.
