Discount on Purchase of DVC with a WDW sponsor?

I thought I saw somewhere where a new owner had said that they got a discount on the purchase of DVC because thier Company was a sponsor at DW. I may be wrong on this, but we just found out this morning that our company is opening a new attraction at WDW called "The great Piggy Bank" or something like that. It will be a new attraction in Innovations. I am just wondering before I set off to purchase DVC, if this will help us in some way. I know Cast Member families get discounts, but I do remember seeing something about sponsors employees.

I have never heard of any discount for DVC purchases, other then the Cast Member discount. But it can not hurt to ask.

If you are able to get a discount, please post back.

I remember reading something about this a while back myself. The best place to start would be through your employer as I doubt DVC guides will have information so quickly.

Last month I was told that a 10% discount was available to employees of Siemens and Hewlett Packert. This came from a DVC guide.

Thanks! Were you an employee for one of them or did he just offer this information? I guess it sounds like only a few companies offer this. I wish I knew if ours would be one of them! Thanks for responding and welcome to the boards!
