Discount Military Tickets

I have already got my free 5 day ticket and my 5 for my family, at the MWR on Fort. Riley.I was wondering.

1) How often will I need to show my Military ID at Disney World?
2) Do I need to be with my kids each time one of them goes into a park?
3) Will I be able to put the tickets on our room keys?

We purchased the Discount Military tickets on our trip in August. My husband had to show his ID when we bought at the ticket window at the MK. Other than that, we were never asked to show ID. Also, the way I understand the rules, you only need to use the tickets as a group the very first time. After that anyone can go anywhere at any time.

You only need to show ID when you activate the tickets. After that there is no need and the military member doesn't need to be with the party during subsequent park visits.

We were not able to attach the ticket to the room key but the ticket was plastic so it was easier to keep track of.
