Discount for Disney Store?

Hi,
Just wondering if anybody has used their DVC membership card in the Disney Store in the UK to get the discount?

They always put mine through as an MKC discount (Magic Kingdom Club?) but it is 10% as the DVC one is.

I have researched this extensively throughout various Disney outlets in the UK and have had no problems in Bath, Bristol, Cribbs Causeway, Birmingham, Plymouth & Covent Garden.

Thanks for re-assuring me. I keep forgetting to carry my card with me and it wasn't until recently that I remembered something about getting a discount for DVC members! Won't forget to carry it now as I also do resesarch in the Bath branch!

Yes you do just show it at the till

It has saved me quite a lot of money already (which just demonstrates how I spend too much in the Disney Store really!)

You can see the increase in popularity of DVC. When I first started using my card in Norwich, the CM never knew what to do with it but it seems they all knew!

I called into my local Building Society the other day and from talking to the cashier, it came to light that she was also in the DVC and was off "to see the Mouse" next week!

Does anyone know if we can get a discount at the Disney Store in DTD Marketplace.

We asked a cashier earlier this year and she said we weren't entitled to a discount.

Anyone any experience?

I don't speak from personal experience here I'm afraid but as noone else has answered! I don't think you do get a DVC discount at the World of Disney but I may be wrong. I think you can get an AP discount here though

Hi Karen,

Thanks for the reply. I think the cashier said they used to give a discount for the disney club which is obviously different to the DVC.
