Discount for Adventures By Disney

I was wondering if the 30% discount on ABD is on the regular rate or the early booking rate or both - does anyone know? Thanks so much! I am thinking about buying the DVC but wanted to make sure the discount was available for ABD.

I've never heard of a discount for Adventures by Disney. There's nothing listed on the member website either.

But even if there is such a discount, understand that all discounts are subject to change at any moment. We've had many variations of discounts over the years on things like park tickets (AP discount is only about 3 years old), dining, recreation, etc.

I wouldn't suggest making discount programs a big part of your decision-making process. Any one of the perks could be eliminated next week or next year and members have zero recourse.

I'm not familiar with any DVC discount on ABD, except for the early booking point discount. But that is probably no longer available for trips this year. Those discounts were disappearing a year out in some cases. I know that the early booking point discount wasn't available for a number of Viva Italia trips when we called in August 2007. We were finally able to get it for the September 14, 2008 trip. I do remember seeing a discount on the ABD site. It may have been 30% for select trips. But it is not a DVC perk. Has anyone heard something different?

There was an early booking discount on points for ABD? Did this apply to the safaris as well. I am a major planner and can definitely plan in the future if the points differential was 30%!!!

Adventures By Disney (ABD) doesn’t currently have a safari. Don't confuse this with the Adventurer’s Collection through DVC. ABD is ran by Disney, not DVC, and you can pay cash or points for the trips. Now there have been rumors that ABD may someday offer a safari. But there are not any available yet.
