Discount Dilemma

Due to issues with our May cruise, DCL has given us 25% off on a future cruise after all other discounts are applied. Sounds like a good deal to me. The problem is that they have to be used by July 2007 and we were not planning on going again until late 2007 or 2008. I have our travel agent checking rates now, but I wanted to be able to pay cash. Would you go ahead and book because the discount is going to be a much greater savings than any interest on a cc (I hate cc's) or wait and forgo the discount?

Heck yea - I'd book and take the discount! You only have to put down $250 per person now and the rest is not due until 90-days before the cruise. There is no way you would run up interest charges in excess of 25% if you paid it off by the end of 2007 or 2008.
