Discount Codes - help please

I don't understand the discount codes I keep hearing about. Where do you get them, how do you use them? Are they used for booking online or do you use them on the phone, making reservations? I've visited the mousesaver site, but still dont' get how one uses the discount codes. Are there other sites with discount codes?

Probably the best idea is to go up to the resorts forum, then to Rates and Codes.

Find the thread with the month you're interested in. For example, my sister is going in July, so I'm subscribed to the July thread.

If and when there's news of a general public code, someone there will know it, and I'll let my sister know.

The other PIN codes are mailed to randomly selected people. I was lucky enough to receive one of those, though I'm not sure just why.

Also, can we assume that you've joined AAA and gotten their 10-20% discount off the rack rate of your room??

Aliceacc is right - the best place to obtain codes is on the DIS rates/codes forum (a sub-forum of the Resorts Board). Here is the direct link.
