Discount Code Room availability

We have reservations for the YC 11/4 – 11/12/06. I have called several times to see if we could get the discount codes that came out last month applies to our reservation but the only deluxe that had availability was AKL, which we didn’t want to change to.

Now, we have already paid for our trip in full, but the original due date for final payment was September 19th. My question for all of you Disney veterans is…. If I call on September 19th and/or September 20th, do you think I have a chance of booking with the codes? I guess what I am wondering is if people with Reservations don’t make their payment will additional rooms become available and will they be available for the discount that quickly?

My recollection from previous discussions about this is that cancelled discounted rooms went back into the rack rate pool and were no longer offered at the discount. I hope someone else answers the question more definitively! Good luck!
