discount code question

If I book a room at rack rate now for CR in May, and a room only discount code comes out later, is there a way for me to take advantage of the code? Would I call and cancel my existing reservation and then book a new reservation using the code? Any information would be apprectiated.

When the discount codes comes out, you call and ask them if you can apply the code to your ressie. You do not have to cancel and make a new one, just modify the one you have. If there is availability at your resort, then it can be applied. If there is no availability at that resort, then you can ask what is available and switch to another resort if you wanted. Hope this helps.

Keep your eyes open for codes and call the day they come out. There are only a certain number of rooms alloted at each resort at the discount rate. I've done this many times and have had no problems applying a code to an existing ressie.
