I've checked out both Sea World and Discovery Cove websites but I couldn't find the answer. If we have Sea World AP's, do we get a discount at Discovery Cove? We are hoping to book the Dolphin Swim Day Resort Package

Thanks in advance!

Yes you can get a discount. But......I have held an AP for SW the last few years, and to be honest the discounts are less then desirable this year. It also depends now what time of year you are going. We are going in March and when I checked the discounts for then (I have done the last 2 visits with a day resort package for $69) now the discounts offered are $109. So, it really wasn't any major savings. I ended up buying their holiday special package for $149 for our dates, because we only have one passport for seaworld, and we are going to Seaworld while in Florida, it would have cost me $109 x's 4 with the discount for just DC, where at $149 I was able to get SW and Aquatica with it for 14 days. I would have had to buy 3 SW tickets on top of the discount DC, so there was no savings. If you want to send me your dates I can look it up through the passport website and let you know what the prices are for then.

Thank you! We are going on November 2013, between the 1st and the 5th but we haven't settled the exact date yet :thumbsup2

We went in October. There is 5 in our family.
We all did the dolphin swim, got the sea world tickets with the package, and a private cabana.... Each ticket cost $299 per person, plus the cost of our cabana rental, pictures, and other stuff we bought at shops there. There weren't any discounts at the time we made our reservations. It was an amazing day, we can't wait to go back again.

You should be ok then with the AP as long as their is more then 2 of you, and you weren't planning on going to SW or any other park. The discounts are the $69 and $160 for Nov 1st to Nov 30th!

Does anyone know what the cheapest AP nonswim package is for discovery cove from 15th may to end of may?

Trying to work out the best deal for Discovery Cove as it seems that our Virgin package didn't give us tickets and as it's a holiday we aren't going to do again think it might be worth it.

I've used the PASSMEMBER2011 on the Discovery Cove site and got slightly cheaper tickets for Aug 2013. Comes out for 6 of us at $1,527.24 + the season ticket of $149 I believe, this using the cheapest price but may be slightly more if I have my dates wrong!

Is this the same price that passholders get on their pages mentioned here earlier or am I getting confused.

I do wonder what Virgin could offer but need to ask them next time I go in.

Thanks for the help.

We are going in July (hopefully), and the website says $319 pp. Yikes! Would the AP be worth it for us? I saw another discount, but there were blackout dates including the entire summer.

This is copied and pasted from the passmembers website. I hope I am allowed to do that!

Not 100% sure that's true as I got cheaper prices by using PASSMEMBER2011 which tells you need a AP holder when picking up the tickets. Got my prices for Aug as well.

They aren't $169 but still cheaper than the $319 I was getting before using the code! Mainly wondering if this the best deal or if there is another way.

Thanks for the info, now time to put the big blue eyes to use with DH. ...fingers crossed!!!!

You can always call and see what they say. I know when I called they told me that March was excluded so there was no option for me!

Yeah the super discount days which are $169 won't be available, however you will probably find that if you use the code I mentioned and have a Annual pass then you will still get some money off, think it's around 50-100 by the looks of things.

It only makes sense if more than 2 of you are going to cancel out the cost of the annual pass I guess as well.

I've just entered in March and depending on day ranges from $209-$269 per person. Not sure if that helps or not.

You can always try to apply the "passmember2011" code - to check the price for your dates ;)
I went at Christmas eve and paied $69 for the general admission ticket and $169 for the dolphin expirience!

Just an FYI. I have a SW season pass and was checking into the passmember discounted tickets to Discovery Cove. It was a significant savings. Instead of paying $299 per person it would only be $169 per person. BUT...the catch is...when you buy the passmember discounted tickets it is ONLY for DC. Those discounted tickets DO NOT include admission into any other parks like the normal DC tickets do. SO we ended up buying full price tickets because we needed the SW and Busch Gardens tickets too.

We ended up paying $1500 for one day at Discovery Cove buy also got one day admissions into Sea World and Busch Gardens. You have to upgrade to the ultimate tickets to get the BG included.
