Disconnected FastPass machines?

In reading a recent post about new RideMax software available for WDW, I went to the RideMax link and saw a sample touring plan that included advice at DL about DISCONNECTED FastPass machines. The advice included not waiting to get the second FastPass on certain rides since those FastPass machines were not connected and thus would not know that you already had a FastPass. Does anyone have any inside scoop on any disconnected WDW machines?

Its not very exciting news once you know how it works.

There are some FP's that are issued for a "show" so they are good for a specific event time.

Lights, Motors, Action Stunt Spectacular in the Studios is the only regularly "disconnected" FP at WDW, that I recall.

You can already have a FP for, say, RnR and still get a FP for LMA (if they are issuing them that day).
Same goes if you get a FP for LMA, you can almost immediatley get another FP for a different MGM attraction at the same time.

Rumor was that Kali River Rapids at AK was "disconnnected" so I tried this trick in June. It's connected trick didn't work.

From what I have heard, it is only at Disneyland where there are disconnected machines.

For anyone going to Disneyland Paris they are ALL disconnected
