I am looking forward to meeting "my" group of newbies on December 4th. I am looking forward to finally putting faces to names. I've PM'ed a few folks in the past that I will be glad to finally meet face to face.

I want to meet everyone...lol.

And just a special note...lol. I have a terrible time remembering names, so please introduce yourself to me. So you can imagine trying to figure out who is who when you meet them. And only knowing a DIS name from seeing the name spelled out, but not spoken out loud. And not knowing the real name and not know what that DISer looked like.

Last year, as we were waiting outside the Yacht and Beach Club Convention Center before the opening reception, I remember approaching a large group of people talking and laughing.

I didn't recognize anyone...lol...because I had never seen a picture of anyone and I never talked to anyone on the phone.

I just realized that the only thing that I knew were "DIS names" from posting.

So I slowly walked around and listened to everyone, and every now and then someone would yell out a DIS name, and I was able to place a DIS name with the face of that person. Lol...I still didn't know their first name.

I also didn't realize that this was a pin meet with a lot of DISers that were here during DIS-CON-I, but not officially signed up until I got inside. I was wondering where everyone was...lol.

Later, I wished that I could have met more DISers whether they were signed up for the paid events or just at WDW to visit during DIS-CON-I, but I didn't know how and I certainly couldn't recognize anyone.

So this year, if you see me, don't be shy. Introduce yourself if you see me...or any DISer. And please remember that I have a terrible memory for names...lol.

And please come to all the greet and meet, DIS mini-meets. There are so many to go to every day. And they are free, too.

So I want to meet everyone...lol.
