Disco lights in POP courtyard ?

I read on allears.net that the 70s courtyard has disco lights! can anyone verify this ? I have a split stay at POP -(*2 rooms ) booked with SSR and have requested 70s building as this seems like the best area and theming for us.

Those are buildings 6 and 10. Building 6 has the Mickey phone, and building 10 has the big wheel.

The last few times I have been to Pop the disco lights were removed from their supports. In other words they have been gone.

I stayed in the '70s in February. I don't remember seeing disco lights.

I stayed in Building 10 at Pop Century earlier this month. We were right on the corner, next to the Big Wheel in the 70s section. No disco lights! Sorry!

my nightmare was shortly after POP opened - I got a room behind the speaker in the 70's section. Pounding disco music, 24 hours a day. They couldn't figure out how to turn off the music, and after two days with no sleep and a migraine they moved me to CBR. I was against disco the first time around, I didn't need it 24 hours a day a second time around!

So no, I didn't see any lights except the aura from my migraine.

Good news is that they finally stopped running music 24 hours a day, and found the volume switch. I stayed a few months later and all was well (I was in the yo-yo section, whatever that was - 1950's??)

thanks! I wasn't around for the '50's and not really aware during what was left of the '60's!!!
