Yes, I saw that, It seems that people would understand that anything we do outside the home..even grocery shopping....can expose you to this...but I guess they want to ensure no one goes assuming anything.

I don't understand. What and where did Disney say this? Not sure I understand what this is either.

I guess the Disney lawyers had to earn their paychecks.

I thought the Federal Government was supporting something like this to help open up the economy once again. If every restaurant, store, gym, movie theater has to worry about being sued, none of them will open up.

People would have to be living under a rock to not know the risks of this CV-19, at this point it has been beaten into our heads. That being said some people are sue crazy, looking for a quick buck I guess so businesses are force to protect themselves however they can. I guess those same people think that businesses have bottomless bags of money, too bad that isn't true but it's not. I think a simple ENTER AT OWN RISK would say it all. JM2Cs

If I got sick at Disney I wouldn't think to blame them unless it was something like negligence in terms of food service.

Even then you need to have medical proof that you got it from them.

Funny thing is, I've always considered this to be the case.
Why is this a surprise? You see warnings everywhere about people who shouldn't ride particular rides for whatever reason, but they can't prevent people from taking the risk. The statement also says they have taken enhanced health and safety measures for the safety of guests and cast members. They aren't saying we're not doing anything so it's up to you. They aren't putting you in an intentionally dangerous situation.

They can disinfect everything in sight, wear masks, inform us of the risks, try to make people stay at a safe distance, but they can't make people have common sense. If you know the dangers of a situation, you make your own decision about the risks. I'd be interested to know how many people die by misadventure every year.

You may have misinterpreted my intention. I am always responsible for my own actions and/or lack thereof. Good or bad. Period.
