Well it is now about 2 days from the end of our trip and DD15 nor DD2 seems to be improving. If we have to see a doctor I want it to be our pediatrician. DH volunteers that it should be him to bring them back since I brought them down... and he may have been "Disneyed Out" as well! :headache: I call the answering service of our pediatrician to give them a heads up and spend the rest of the evening packing bags that will go home tomorrow.

The next morning after breakfast and coffee, we call valet and load the car with all the excess stuff and the dirty clothes bag (thanks, hon!) As they head out I promise to call the Dr. at 9 AM when they open. After making the appt. for 1:30 PM, I call to confirm with DH that both the girls have an appt to be seen and to let me know ASAP what is the prognosis.

After that is taken care of DD9 and I walk over to the TTC to grab a monorail for EPCOT! One of the kind CM's answers "yes" when we politely ask about riding up front.... WOW! Our luck is good this morning! We get a CM driver with a sense of humor! When we're off he shows DD9 how to "blow the horn" on the monorail...(I didn't even know they HAD a horn! LOL!) She has to hold her ears it is so LOUD! I wonder if anyone in back was wondering what the heck is going on up there!?

We arrive about 10 AM and decide to head over to our favorite ride, Mission Space! Unfortunately the ride has a 2 hour wait and the FastPasses are already into the late afternoon hours! The Single Rider line is an hour... so we decide to head over to World Showcase since Test Track is also an impossibly long wait. We are able to ride Norway twice in a row since we got a FastPass before getting into line. We also met a charming family of 3 who lived in the United States but were of Indian lineage (the country India). The 2 girls were close in age and were chatting like sisters the entire wait. I enjoyed the company of the parents so much, we stayed for the film after Norway which we usually skip! By this time, hunger has struck and DD9 has a definite "want" for a hamburger. I sigh a little, as I really enjoy trying the exotic foods in EPCOT and a hamburger seems so ordinary! We find what she wants in the American Pavilion and it is packed with other hungry people! I was in line at least half an hour while I kept sending DD9 to sit down at a table! And after all that noise about having to have a hamburger? She orders chicken tenders!

After a "nourishing" lunch we were in the right place at the right time... here comes the Drum and Fife corps! After the pledge of allegiance we continue our journey around the world on foot. We were getting a bit tired in Japan and the boat had just arrived so we jump aboard and get off in Canada. "Off Kilter" is not playing so we decide to head back to the POLY for a rest. There are so many people here, even DD9 did not argue about going back! I have a surprise planned for her tonight...

You are like the Energizer Bunny

I never knew that The Monorail Trains had horns either... 23 years of ignorance

Here is another picture on our way back to our Poly Longhouse. We got off at TTC and walked over since it was so close...

I agree with Magic, you are like the Energizer Bunny. You just keep going and going and going.

What's the surprise? I can't wait!

The Energizer bunny has now posted the surprise! (Which turns out to be a visit at the Neverland Club!)

The are what really inspired me to get going on the trip report so I could get them organized!

Thanx for sharing your report and also your pix.

Disbug - I can't remember if I posted on another thread, but I enjoyed your report and am glad that your family is feeling much better.

Did you ever finish your summer solo trip report? (I think you started at OKW)??

Take Care and Happy Birthday to DD3
:jester:

no, sadly I did not finish that report due to happenings at home! I have the pictures and may do a "highlights" report of that trip to finish it up... Sorry if I left anyone hanging on that one!

No apoplogy necessary Disbug! Life happens. I know I would be interested in seeing your pictorial highlights whenever you get to them. :D

I also have some questions about using the Guest Assistance card so I am going to PM you.

marymrg Just got back and received your PM. Did you get mine? I responded but the boards were acting funny and don't know if it went through or not. Let me know and I will resend!

donac All the reports are out. I think 11 is as high as it goes. I will try to bump it back for you!
