Rubber Ducky You're the one... you make bathtime so much fun! Rubber Ducky I'm awfully fond of yooouuuuuuuu.........! THIS is the life! Sleeping in late.... soaking in a tub full of bubbly hot water.... reading my Robin Cook Mystery Novel... What a luxury! I rarely get to finish my shower at home with hot water (unless I'm first!) and I have the bathroom ALL to MYSELF! No one knocking on the door asking, "Mom Can I come in and use the bathroom?" Heaven I'm in Heaven... No one to tell me to stop singing in the shower! LOL!
Here's what my courtyard at OKW looked like... right across from the Hospitality House!
YAWN! Wow... I woke up SOOO tired! I slept late which is unusual for me... I think I may have worn myself out! It was worth it though... staying up for the WISHES fireworks at MK is on my all time list of THINGS NOT TO BE MISSED! I'm going to give myself a manicure and a facial... THE WORKS! I'm talking all the fancy soaps and lotions! I am soaking away, bubbles up to my neck... grinning cause I don't have to close and lock the bathroom door! No chance of the girls knocking on the bathroom door going, "Mom? Can I come in?" or "Are you almost done?" Famous last words.... The bathroom is made entirely out of porcelain and I am not close enough to anything made out of wood, so I have just jinxed myself.... 5 mins later: Someone is knocking on my door! My TIMING is IMPECCABLE, NO? Oh, bother! Who could that be?? Well they knock again, and I am thinking they will go away BUT... WHAT IF THEY COME IN? Yes, I had forgot to do the door latch thingee! So, I WHOOSH out of the tub, and stick my bubbly head out of the door with a big smile! "Yes, May I help you?" Someone has brought me balloons!
Buzz and Woody Stopped by to "WELCOME me HOME!" while I was in the tub!
OH, HOW CUTE! THANK YOU! When I read the card... this must have been the surprise that Cindy and Bruce were expecting me to find in my room yesterday! What a nice thing for them to do...! Now TikiMan will have some company while I'm out!
Well, I am thinking it's really too late to go anywhere but.... I have never seen the JUNGLE JAMMIN parade at the AK so, with a plan in mind I hurry and get dressed! I decide to drive since it is later in the day... I am just in time!
Minnie is on a JUNGLE PICNIC and we all be jammin'!
After the parade I am right in front of Kilamanjaro Safaris... so WHY NOT? It is very cool out this afternoon and I am hoping the animals will be more active! I get my wish...
This is the first time I've ever seen the hippos out of the water! Awesome!
Leo, was enjoying the sun up on his rocky outpost!
Not only did we get to see and photograph the animals while we were on our safari, but we also helped rescue the little baby elephant "Little Red" from the bad man poachers!
The Main Lodge House at AKL is beyond Impressive...!
I am hungry and haven't eaten yet today, so I think I will try to use a Connections voucher over at MARA's which is at the AKL. I have never been able to get a "good deal" using a voucher at AKL but I have heard of others doing so.... I am determined to try again! I get the rotisserie chicken with a side of couscous. I also order a smoothie for my drink and a piece of carrot cake for dessert. It is all just "OK". I am 0 for 2 on getting a deal using vouchers at Mara's. I think I do a little better than break even. The best deal for these is really at the Pepper Market in Coronado Springs... with Beaches and Cream being a good second choice.
The Sun is Setting on the Incomparable Animal Kingdom Lodge... a spectacular resort!
I have had a nice lazy day to explore OKW, AK, and AKL.... the weather has overall been unbelievably beautiful. Both warm and cold... but the skies have been stunning! Tomorrow, I am going to Early Morning Hour at the Magic Kingdom AND I run into another fun couple who turns the evening into a BLAST and I get to meet the one and only, PAM BRODY!

Can't wait to hear about the Magic Kingdom....Thanks for posting, beautiful photo's as usual. DH said we will be purchasing our first digital camera before our trip at the end of the month...Have the information you sent me writen down, He has said something about a Nikon. I just can't wait for the trip.
