Georgia looks so cute in that Kell! I love it!

Mary Poppins-

th_MaryPoppins001.jpg
Great job Aimee!

And brian with the fish- :rotfl: Those northern pikes they do hiss and they have teeth!! They are kinda scary!!
My dad used to go cat fishing. Now those are scary looking fish!!! And they are huge- One year when I was little like maybe 5-6 yrs old he brought one home that was as big as my sister!! I think I might have pictures- not sure where they might be hmmmmm.

Alright more catching up to do......

I would like to see that picture, I think.... I told Brian that it was completely unnatural for a fish to have TEETH and HISS!! He LAUGHED at me!

Thanks to everyone for the kind compliments on the dresses!:lovestruc  I do have exciting news. My DD9 just got invited to go the the Hannah Montana 3-D movie tomorrow night. I am considering tagging along with the two little ones??? We shall see.
Well its Monday so I will most likely be lurking much of the week. Its blowing a hurricane here practically and we have wind advisories out. I tell you this is the windiest place to live. :scared:

OOH, you should go too!!! It is really fun! Apparently, Corey wanted to go to the movie with us, but was not asked. I think he just didn't like the face that I didn't ask him though. But, I sure felt guilty when i found out he was disapointed!

Actually it wasn't long at all. I did both of them watching the Daytona Qualifying run. Maybe an hour or two. The girls loved doing it. DD5 wanted to sleep with it last night.:rotfl: I've had to keep them over near the sewing machine so they won't play with them. The hardest thing was cutting them off because the scissors go right up the back.

Thank you so much for the instructions and the idea!! You just saved me so much money!!!
I'm thinking if someone had those bandage scissors like they have at hospitals (with the curved up edge) that would work great for these. Hey, Elisa, why don't you try that out!

And, I am SOOOO happy that I could help you out!!! It makes me happy!

I will help you stay on track, I just started my diet and exercise last week. I weighed in today and I lost 4.5lbs, still about 35lbs to go, but I was very happy with that!!! I will try to post here weekly with my progress. I agree it is much easier when others are holding you accountable! Good Luck!

yeah, another one!

teresajoy: You know I was thinking the same thing about the car seats! LOL! Thanks a LOT for posting the picture of the scary fish. I guess the sweet picture of Lydia and Mulan make up for it. Happy snow day to the kids!
I knew you would be!!

And, can you believe they closed school the night before! Cool!!!

Hi..This is my latest. I'm not too crazy about the shirt...but it's okay. It says Wild in Walt Disney script..It's almost finished.
Alexis seems to like it. Excuse her hair...LOL

As usual, I love it Elisa!!! The colors and fabrics are great! I love the way it says Wild on the top too! You have serious talent!!!

I thought I would share our photos with Mulan, from last year. No customs, though! This was before I found you guys!

th_Disneytrip058.jpg

I am excited this year to get to show off my girls in their customs! I do need to get on the ball with sewing them, though.

Aww, I just love these pictures!

I will share my pictures of my dd and Mulan from our last trip as well. As you can see, no customs during our last trip....what was I thinking??? LOL
DD wasn't too happy in the picture.

Here's Mulan coloring with dd:

Adorable!!!! Your daughter is just so pretty!
You all know I can't pass up a chance to share a picture. So, here's our Mulan picture from our last trip. As you can see, Tessa was unimpressed! :rotfl: It wasn't just Mulan, she ignored everyone, even the very handsome Aladdin. Mulan was REALLY sweet and quite beautiful!
th_22fd.jpg
These pictures still cracky me up!!

Does anyone know where to get the chalk cloth to make the chalk mats? Sorry not yelling, just wanted to make sure you guys didn't miss my question if you know the answer!:) I wanted to try to make one! I was thinking this would be great "goody bag" gifts for a bday party! TIA!
I've seen it at a local quilt shop, I don't remember how much it was though. But, I thought it was pretty neat!
They have it here too:
http://www.nancysnotions.com/NNVia/...=TITLE_VIAUSERDOCLIST&stackTitle=&newWindow=Y
Hancocks.com has it on their site too. (although, I can't find it right now!)
Where did you find Mushu? I can't wait to see your new pictures with the girls costumes!
Mushsu was standing next to Mulan when we were there.

I wanted your advice on a project. I'm going to applique pillowcase Sebastian to a shirt for Sawyer. I am pretty sure I'm going to iron on the phrase in a word balloon. But, I wanted to see if you all like it better with or without the phrase. Obviously, it won't be a big white block when I put it on, that's just how it turned out in photo shop. He'll wear this on the day that Tessa wears her pillowcase Ariel dress.

ETA: You don't need to add this picture to the photobucket account, Teresa! Hopefully I'll add a finished picture with Sawyer wearing it soon!

I think it would be cute with the phrase in a big water bubble with smaller bubbles leading up to it. Definitely add the phrase, however you do it. By the way, my older daughter's name is Tessa. :goodvibes

Here are our Mulan pictures. We had to stop at every bathroom so she could look at the lipstick mark on her face. The outfit is a "custom". More homemade. I took a skirt pattern and shorts to make a skort. Then went to the creative board to make an ironon of the sillie princesses.

There is one of Belle also, but I don't have that on my computer.

And then this is our coloring book page. We usually make a small coloring book for Kirsta's Bday parties.

I received my Minnie panel today!   THANK YOU!!! My daughter was going nuts over it! Thank you again!

AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I wanted to sew while Georgia was on her playdate, but instead I have the friend come to me and say "Kelly, there are ants on Georgia's chair" I am thinking a few, one or two.. since the weather has been cold and rainy lately (thankfully not today) they are coming in to finda nice spot.

WRONG!!!

There were like 100!! Some were climbing up the wall, on her rain jacket, they were gathered by the foot of her bed on the ground. YUCK. so I got the spray, and sent the girls outside.

I HATE ANTS! I just spend 40 minutes cleaning up her room and searching...

We have trouble in the Spring. Terro works great. They are little Ant traps. Then we discovered that they come in a spot at the back door. So I got the large outdoor type and no more ant problems. That stuff is great!!

Thanks everyone for all of your help with the chalk cloth! I am going to check it out when I have some time!

Thank you everyone!for the Happy Birthday wishes! (And thanks Jen for "outing" me  )

If you are thinking of the mice from Cinderella, I think her actual name is Perla. Suzy is the other mouse. Either way, the dress looks awesome. This is hilarious! She looks great!
I have been trying to figure out who Mary Mouse is too. I was wondering if I had missed her in a new movie or something b/c the only two mice I knew that had names were Suzy & Perla.
I just looked on imbd and apparently in Cinderella II -- her name is Mary Mouse. Anybody else think that it is the same mouse from Disney World that is Suzy (or Perla)?
In Cinderella II her name is Mary Mouse. It is my daughters favorite movie right now so the Pink mouse at WDW is Mary. :)

Aimee, I did just have to add, this morning DD10 saw the picture of your outfit and she blurted out "Mary Mouse!" immediately.

Okay, I need to go switch computers so I can load some photos and show you my latest. I just put Lily down for a nap, and dangit, it's my birthday so forget cleaning, cooking and laundry, I'm going to DIS!

Quick question for anyone that does this type of top or dress:

When you are working with two skirts, are you gathering them together or separately before you attach them to the bodice? I hope that made sense?

Hi - So you make 2 complete skirts, 1 longer than the other? Also, is this the same when you are putting the tulle that hangs out the bottom? Is that itchy??? I bought the most beautiful sparkly butterfly fabric at Wallyworld today, and was thinking some pretty tulle would look awesome, but not sure if DN would wear it if it was uncomfy for her - she a comfort hound!!! lol!!!

Beautiful outfits out there!! Im trying to get the courage to cut apart my Ariel to make a big face jumper...any advice????

Thanks so much, Wendy

PS - I must have missed something - Is Pierre back at your house????

Yup, you make 2 complete skirts, one longer than the other. Tulle is very scratchy against the skin. So, if you're going to use that, you'd want another layer of cotton or something underneath it.

Pierre never left. We were going to take him to Henry's grandma's house on Saturday, but when she told me she was planning on giving him to her sister, we didn't want to take him there. I guess there was some mis-communication between us where I thought she said she wanted another dog for herself and she thought she said she was giving it to her sister (which she never said!).

That is cute either way. I really think that you should do the words because that would be funny with your DD wearing the Ariel one.

So cute! I like the bubbles idea.

Is anyone else having trouble getting photo-bucket to load?

It is driving me crazy!!!!!!

Thanks - I was never sure how you all did it - so if there is tulle peaking out under neath, that usually means there is 3 skirts????????

Ah, Pierre - does he seem to be getting the idea with Sawyer? I hope it all works out, you said he is really a sweetie - do you still feel that way bout him? Zoey said that she could try having a little "woof" with him if you thought that would help!!:rotfl:

Well, you have good taste in names, too! :thumbsup2 How old is your Tessa?

I think that's right. There's usually 3 skirts, or the tulle is attached to one of the other skirts, so it doesn't go all the way up. I've only made one skirt with tulle and I attached the tulle to the underskirt, about 2/3 way up.

Yup, I still think he's a sweetie. How weird is that? He just seems to be scared of Sawyer. Sawyer hasn't given him a reason to, but I'm sure some little kid has hurt him in the past. I am not letting him get near Sawyer without the muzzle on and me right by them. But, he hasn't growled at him since we've started working with him, so that's a start. I'm sure Zoey could give him a "woofing to".

This was inside of the China Pavillion by the terra cotta warriors, before we went to Akershus. No customs. Brianna insisted on the purchased dress.
