Hi every body...I haven't dropped off the face of the Earth...I've been here sewing right along with all of you. Everything everyone has made lately is gorgeous...I love the Belle outfit.
I have two outfits in process right now, but need to make a trip to Walmart for some more fabric to finish one.
Today we went to IKEA for the first time. It was tons of fun! We spent over 2 hours in there and I bought Alexis a new bed. It's just gorgeous. I will post pictures soon, but I'm too tired to right now. My fingers are sore from putting together the bed..ouch!
I will post some pictures later on tonight...bye for now...

Here is my other DDs hm shirt. It is a peasant top, I will post pics later of her standing in it! I still have to make her bermudas to go with it, but right now she is wearing pants.

So cute!!!! I was wondering the same thing as Heather! That's what my girls look like when they are pretending to sleep! She is a little doll!

I have a specific image in my mind and swore I had seen it somewhere. After going to Joanns and 2 quilt shops, I came home and realized I knew where I saw it--my bedroom curtains :scared: If I don't find something I like online, I may have to pull a Giselle :rotfl2:

Now, THAT is funny!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I hope you find what you need without tearing down your curtains!

Nice to see you Elisa! I've always wanted to go to an IKEA store! We dont' have any neer by that I'm aware of. I can't wait to see Alexis' new bed! And, good for you putting it together!

Here is some proof that I've been sewing. I bought this *&^##%^& pattern and HATE it! I don't know who made it or the pattern number, because it's in the garbage. Anywho, this is the top that I wrecked. LOL
I finished it this morning..

Ireland looked at this picture, and the first thing she notices is her "skinny" legs...I wish I had her problem..
This is a tent that I found at ToysRus on Friday. The tent, two huge blankets, (one pink, one purple) two flashlights, and two sleep masks, was only 13 dollars. The girls love it, and play sleepover in it..they haven't been brave enough to actually sleep in it yet..

My 5 year old just took a few photos for me  I had to squat down to be on his level :rotfl:

This is the top that I finished last night
SewingProjects011.jpg
I love this top! You did a great job. Are you going to make some matching decoupage pants?
Made this today for my DD. I've been loving all the madras I've been seeing. When I found this fabric, I knew I had to have it.
IMG_3349.jpg

Love the tie at the neck
THis fabric is beautiful!

Okay, here is my CAMELOTCATS skirt :rotfl: I made it yesterday but my internet went down when I tried to get it into photobucket. Thank you Angela! Lily loves it and Jayden was saying she wanted one. I just did a 3-layer twirl skirt with a gingham underskirt. I'll try to get photos of it on her eventually. I was excited about all the long strips with no seams and went crazy with my ruffler then stitched rows together and made a seam up the back. Sadly I ran out of bias tape with about 8 inches left! So I have to run to the store before I can totally finish it. I'm just about done with a peasant top in the pink gingham, but not sure I really love it. The pinks in the gingham and the minnie don't quite match

IMG_0934_edited-1.jpg
Wow that was quick! It turned out cute. I haven't even washed mine.
We just discovered the joys of boutique bows and DD loves them! She also loves he new headbands. The1EvilQueen made these for me. She hasn't posted in awhile so I'll email her and let her know tp check her pm's in case you send her one. Here are the 3 she made us. Jennwdw made our bows!!

IMG_3012.jpg
Beautiful bows and headbands!
So I know I have posted bits of my older DD's outfit. She asked me where her little sister's Belle outfit was today. I told her she did not have one. Well that was not acceptable for the Princess! So we made one toinght. I think it turned out really cute. I may have to shorten the skirt at tad but I hope it will work and then the babes can wear it into the summer.

Because I was on a time crush I used the pillowcase. I also have a mix of yellow and pink beads that I will make into a little necklace. Little sister wants big sisters Belle bracelet more than I can explain. The girls are going to wear these with their pink puddle jumpers on the first day to the Magic Kingdom.

Belle001.jpg
I love this dress. Where did you get that pink fabric?

We are waiting for Dad to come home (his car broke down that day and he had to get a ride to the shop after work).

She made up this pose herself:

And you knew that dog would sneak his way in:

Aren't they cute? :lovestruc
Wow she looks beautiful. Did you fix her hair? It looks really pretty. Of Course if Scrappy is anything like my Sophie he wants to shred that corsage. :rotfl2: Daddy and Daughter are adorable!
Warning: Large post coming up. We got together with my BIL family last night for a last check for all the clothes I made for our trip in March. My little one was asleep, so I'll have to post his outfits later.

My son's Epcot outfit

Good to see something for boys! I really like this top!
These are so cute. I think they are my favorites. Your pictures are going to be so nice! You have been busy!
Ok here is a picture of DD in her Hannah Montana outfit.

Love the Hello Kitty top! The tent looks like a lot of fun.

OK I am so far behind! Such great things too! I got a new computer and everything looks SO much cooler on a 20 inch monitor instead of my laptop. ;)

I have a Brother cs machine. The bobbin thread is not looping into the top thread and is tangling under my fabric. I have done all the cleaning and rethreading and re-bobbin-ing I can. The carriage that the bobbin thingy sits in doesn't turn when I sew. Does it just need oiling? My old Singer had a manual and told how to oil it. This one does not. Should I take it in to be serviced?
C

I have the cs6000, check your bobbin case. I had this problem when I changed my bobbin. For some reason, it came loose. If you twist it just a bit, it will lock in place. Don't use any force.

I think the top looks cute, what don't you like about it?

The tent looks like fun!!! Arminda and Lydia have a little tent they play with. Lydia likes to pretend it's a space shuttle. They wanted to sleep in it in the living room, but I talked them into putting it on their bed. They've been sleeping in it every night for about two weeks. It's nice, because their room is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COLD! It helps to keep them warm!

Okay, it was my turn to see the Hannah Montana movie. I loved it. But Kirsta was half way through the movie asking me if was time to go. I think she really liked it, but she is having issues with being tired all the time. She goes the end of the month to have her tonsils out, annoids and tubes in her ears. The Drs. say her snoring is keeping her from getting a good nights sleep. Anyway, here are my pictues ...................

Okay, so it wasn't the movie. I'm a big Billy Ray fan, and this was Miley's first performance. I think she was around 5 or 6. She asked her Dad if she could perform with him on stage, so when he was in Atlantic City she had her come on the stage and sing a song. It was so adorable, even though I don't remember what it was. After the show, BRC stays on stage and signs autographs for his fans. She was next to him and someone asked her for her autograph. She looked at Dad, and he told her to go ahead, if she wanted to sing, she'd better get used to it.

I can't believe I found my pictures from way back then. The pictures from the concert of BRC are really good. I'm disappointed that the Miley pictures stink. Wish I knew then what I knew now!!

Don't I wish!!! We sat right up against the stage, and what I remember, BRC wore pins on the hem of his jeans. Like Disney pin trading, pins. I don't know what they were of, but I thought that was so cool!!

Love ALL your outfits! That is a lot of work and I could never get all 4 of my kids to pose nicely in one photo, let alone that many! Where did you get the fabric for your Ohana outfits? I LOVE it! I NEED it!

I got that fabric on :wizard: Just do a search for hibiscus fabric.

Hi Everyone! :goodvibes

So did you tell the girls yet??? :confused3
Aimee great job on the coordinating Belle outfit...seriously! I can't keep up with your sewing pace either! You all must be so excited. I love the jewelry too....do they keep it on all day or do you end up stuffing it in a bag after an hour?

Thanks! No the girls do not know. They think the clothes are for spring. LOL Yes, the do keep the bling on. Actually they get upset when I take it off!

Dreamer- The pink fabric came from Jo Ann's. I am trying to track it down for a couple of friends. I will let everyone know if I am able to find it. I bought it in December and only have a scrap left.

Cute tops!! They look adorable!

I'm not happy with Arminda's HM skirt. It looks really cute on Lydia, but Arminda's needs something more. We haven't figured out what yet though!

Kaedyn had a daddy daughter dance tonight. Here are some pictures of her with my husband. The only thing I made is her hairdo :)

I had to update my Realplayer so I could watch your slide show, but I got it to work!!! YEAH!!!

What can I say!!! ADORABLE!!! I love it that she gave him a boutineire!! I never thought of that! Your daughter is just too cute! I love the little flowers in her hair! I can't wait until my girls go this year, it's always a big night around here!

Hi! I Have A Disney Skirt I Bought From Disney Shopping, It Is From Last Summer, The Disney Divine Line, It Is A Sage Green Color, Anyway, The Skirt Runs Very Small, Slim Cut, It Has Pleats In The Front And Back. To Make It Larger I Took Out The Pleats From The Back, My Question Is, I Plan On Replacing The Waist Band With Elastic, Maybe Just The Back, What Is The Best Way To Do This. I Am Not Sure How To Measure For The Elastic, Do You Just Take Your Waist Measurement. Any Help Would Be Appreciated Thanks

My little dd saw this and came running with her mouth hanging open- saying ohhhhhh. I wish I had the camera in my hand it was SOOOO Cute!! And so is this outfit- it is awesome!!

Oh yes and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Kenzie was sleeping, and it woke her when I straightened her shirt to take a picture. She smiled at me, and then fell back asleep. She saw her picture on here, and asked me when I took her picture. :rotfl:

Heather, I don't have a serger, but I have an overlock foot. I used that with a zigzag stitch. I shirred it around the top and sleeves instead of putting in elastic. I finished her pants, all but the hem, and I will post those tomorrow.
