Ok that was super fast!!! I have mine washed and dried- that's it. I am planning to embellish some overalls.

Well I wasn't on here all day today. I got three pairs of pants cut and a skirt cut. I also took a nap today- (ahh sweet naps how I have missed you  ) So I will be sewing tonight when the rest of the house sleeps!!

Im one step ahead of YOU. I have mine washed, dried AND ironed. LOL

It says it's super easy! I didn't even notice the buttons in the print. That's why it fits so well, you did a great job on it.

Kaedyn had a daddy daughter dance tonight. Here are some pictures of her with my husband. The only thing I made is her hairdo :)

She looks so beautiful with her Daddy! I love the little rosebuds in her hair. Her corsage looks just like Megan's: I'd better upload our pictures.

Cute! I hope your mouth feels better soon.

Beautiful! I love the pink fabric with the yellow, it came out great, especially for being a last-minute thing.

We are waiting for Dad to come home (his car broke down that day and he had to get a ride to the shop after work).

Aren't they cute? :lovestruc

I LOVE this Aimee! I was thinking of doing something similar. I hope it comes out even close to as cute as this!

Thanks so much! I am really excited to say that I made this one up myself. The skirt is a pretty simple strip work skirt with waistband and ruffle. I made the pattern for the top. It was really fun to do. My older DD helped me. She was really excited to help. We are planning on making a couple other tops like this one.

I cut out a pattern last night that is similar. It is McCalls 5419 View E - for the top only. Thought this might be helpful for those of us that are too scared to draft our own.

Thank you! I showed my daughter the pictures and she said "is that me?!" They resemble eachother!! She loved the idea of pretty headbands! Thank goodness ;)

Made this today for my DD. I've been loving all the madras I've been seeing. When I found this fabric, I knew I had to have it.

Love the tie at the neck

I love this. I agree I love pink and purple (especially after having two boys) but I love seeing DD2 in other colors.

So cute.

I received my Farbenmix pattern Vida (patchwork jumper) and like a true male, I didn't read the directions first!:headache:

:lmao: That was brave of you to admit that, most wouldn't.

Kaedyn had a daddy daughter dance tonight. Here are some pictures of her with my husband. The only thing I made is her hairdo :)

Very pretty.

I still can't get over those are pillowcases. Are they easy? I can't get the picture to show up in the post but it's the belle dress.

Yes they are cute. I love brown and pink together.

Your daughter is so pretty. I love the way her hair is done up. It's very grown up.
So I know I have posted bits of my older DD's outfit. She asked me where her little sister's Belle outfit was today. I told her she did not have one. Well that was not acceptable for the Princess! So we made one toinght. I think it turned out really cute. I may have to shorten the skirt at tad but I hope it will work and then the babes can wear it into the summer.

Because I was on a time crush I used the pillowcase. I also have a mix of yellow and pink beads that I will make into a little necklace. Little sister wants big sisters Belle bracelet more than I can explain. The girls are going to wear these with their pink puddle jumpers on the first day to the Magic Kingdom.

Yes they are very cute. Your DD really looks happy.

Last night I finished DD's Hannah Monster dress. Everytime that I would start working on it I would tire out so fast. The flounces were very frustrating to do, but last night I had to get it done. The outfit is for a HM b-day party she is going to today. The top turned out very cute. I grabbed the camera last night to take a picture, but it was dead. DH said that the battery has probably met his last charge. Anyways I have to do the capris and then when DD wakes up I will take a picture of her with the outfit on and post it for ya'll.

Good morning!!

I love the pictures from the Daddy Daughter Dances - brought tears to my eyes....

Thanks for the great ribbon fabric!!!

I have the pillowcase now, but am afraid to cut it apart!!!:rotfl:

I finally have internet access from home again! thank goodness! I move recently, and it took awhile to get dsl installed.
anyway, I was trying to catch up, but you guys move too fast!

I love the wrap skirt (can't remember who made it) made from leftovers - super cute!
I love the cakes! I've always wanted to be a decorator, but I'm just not that good.
LOVE the hello kitty applique!

also, I got my fabric from disneymommieof2!!!!

Thank you so much!
I looooove the pink toile! Now I have to figure out what to do with it. hmm.

Hi Everyone,

Is there a printable Joann's coupon this week? I keep getting some survey thing when I do a search for one.

THanks, Wendy

Here is my latest. Drew has been asking for this since I mentioned that I might do it (probably last summer) so I rushed through it. I am not crazy about it and I think I learned something important about myself....... I don't enjoy appliquéing. It's just not fun for me. I'm sticking to construction from now on.

This is SOOOOOO cute!!! You did a fantastic job on this!!! I must not let Lydia see it!!! She will want it for sure!

I LOVE this cake!!!! It's absolutely adorable!! I really have to try fondant! I could post a picture of my favorite cake I've made, but it doesn't hold up to the ones you two have posted today!!!
Post it!!! I love that cake!!!

Garsh Amy, every time you post of pic of yourself, I do a double take...I swear we are twins separated at birth!!! :rotfl: What do you think???

th_IMGP4457.jpg
Wow! That is quite a resemblance!

My 5 year old just took a few photos for me  I had to squat down to be on his level :rotfl:

This is the top that I finished last night

That is really cute! I love to see the adults making things for themselves!

Shannon, that is really cute!!!!

Okay, here is my CAMELOTCATS skirt :rotfl: I made it yesterday but my internet went down when I tried to get it into photobucket. Thank you Angela! Lily loves it and Jayden was saying she wanted one. I just did a 3-layer twirl skirt with a gingham underskirt. I'll try to get photos of it on her eventually. I was excited about all the long strips with no seams and went crazy with my ruffler then stitched rows together and made a seam up the back. Sadly I ran out of bias tape with about 8 inches left! So I have to run to the store before I can totally finish it. I'm just about done with a peasant top in the pink gingham, but not sure I really love it. The pinks in the gingham and the minnie don't quite match

th_IMG_0934_edited-1.jpg
WOWZA!!! That is so adorable!!!! I can't wait to see Lily in it!

Those of you who have dress forms, where did you get them?

I thought I remember someone posting something as a cheaper way to have a dress form without buying a dress form - can they repost that?

You can make one out of duct tape. There are directions in the bookmarks. I use to have other directions bookmarked on my computer, so they might be in the bookmarks too. One involved just taking clothes and stuffing them, then putting other clothes over that. If you want pictures for Ebay or something that would work. If you want to use it for sewing, you'd want something without so much give.

So cute Aimee! These remind me of the Bowz N Stuff set that Angel had for Gracie! You did a great job on these!

Did you make this dress? It looks similar to one that Arminda got at Penny's, it's so cute!!!!

That's adorable!! What pattern is this?

Yay! Our first baby mickey/minnie pink and green fabric skirt! I love it!!!

There's a category in the bookmarks called "Dress Form/Mannequen (make your own)". It's got some good links to make your own, if you want to give that a try.

Someone was looking for the font used on the Twilight series books. I think it is Zephyr.

Thanks. I was hoping for a free version, though. We won't be able to buy one.

Love, love , LOVE it. It looks great & now I have to add a HK to my list as well. She's very popular in this house.

Very cute & somewhat similar to what I have planned. I had hoped to work on it yesterday, but I had a sick baby & a sick dh so I didn't get a lot done at all. Maybe today.
