I finished the Ariel top. Here it is:

DD is actually really excited, she was being silly about posing, she won't take the top off though. I am toying with the idea of a pair of embellished jeans or a twirl skirt. I've got the stuff to do the jeans here but would need more fabric for the skirt, I'm having a hard time deciding. I've never taken apart a pair of jeans to embellish them and while they are second hand jeans, I'm not sure I want to get them apart only to find out I can't get them back together. I'm just being a big chicken.

Here is what I have been up to!

The baby legs are so cute!! I made a couple for sophia, but I wish I would have found them when she was crawling!! The buzz jeans are awesome- for the shirt I would put a small buzz on the upper chest part.

Okay, I need EVERYONE'S help please!!!!!! This year my husband and I are celebrating our TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Don't know how that happened so fast! Anyway, we are planning a trip to JAMAICA in may! So I am on a mission to lose weight! I need to lose about 30lbs at least! So I need you guys to help me stay on track, so I am going to report each week how much I have lost that way I can be held accountable by someone! So if I report no weight loss or weight gain, you guys have to get on me! OKAY? Do you mind helping me out???? Pretty please with sugar on top?

What great timing you all have- I was just at an exercise class with one of my ladies last night- It was a core conditioning class and I was feeling muscles that don't remember having!!! I am not to sore today but man I really need to lose some weight and get in better shape!! I only go to the ymca with her 1 x a week so this would help me stay on track the rest of the week!!

Oh, just so everyone knows, there is a LOT of that Minnie print floating around here. I sent out 22 packages. I really want to see what everyone does with it! PLEASE post pics as you use it!!! PLEASE!!

I am thinking about my trip in APril, and it's not like I already don't have enough to do, but do you think it would be tacky to make myself some patch-panel jeans for disney?? Or will I be on those "what was SHE thinking" threads?

I love it! Your daughter is absolutely darling! I love her silly modeling, it reminds me of Tessa! I think it would look cute with either a skirt or the embellished jeans. It's not too hard to close them back up, you can do it!

Flea, where in NZ are you? My best girlfriend is married to a New Zealander, they live in Christchurch. I miss her so much, I wish she could have found a man in our hemisphere but he's a great guy, they have two great little ones as well. They'll be over here in the US this summer, I can't wait to see her and her kids, our kids get along great, which is another reason we lived closer together.

Your country is amazingly beautiful, I can't wait to visit, I'm just not up for that long plane ride with a preschooler. I have no idea how my friend does it on her own with two kids in tow.

That is really cute!!

I'll only be married 9 years this year(june 26)- but I have have my 10 yr. HS reunion!!
And that gives me and Idea for a WDW trip- I'll have to put the bug in dhs ear- You know reminding him that we did go to WDW for our honeymoon and wouldn't it be great to go on our 10 year anniversary?!?!?!?

We went to Kmart today after ds had his four yr well check- I had to see there pillowcases!! But there was NO TINK which is the one I wanted!! They had like 20 valances. Which I was thinking would be cute and they are small so it would be a good size for dd, but the valances are $15 and what would I do with that many tinks!!! I also bought the game caribou for ds- he has been playing it at school and LOVES it. But the treasure chest is all sticky so now I have to take it back!!

I'm in Auckland NZ is beautiful - we did consider moving away to Australia for work but decided against it. I love my house too much

That plane ride scares me too. When we do the big plane ride the girls will be almost 3 and almost 5 - I'm planning now to try and find ways of coping. I think my big girl will be fine - she loves all things mechanical and we spend quite alot of time out at the airport watching the planes land (she loves it).

I've got another one of those panels (wish I had gotten more than two) I'm planning on making the second one into a halter. I think I'm going to make a twirly skirt or skort to go along with that one.

This is great! I have an Ariel pillowcase, can't remember if it is the same one, I was going to do a jumper with the Ariel head applique but never found any cute Ariel fabric for it. Where did you get the sleeve fabric? And is it sparkly? I'm giving up on my Ariel jumper and I'm going to CASE this! I have a pair of jeans all ripped open and waiting for me to try something with them. DD will probably outgrow them before I get anything done!

I'll join you gals in the weightloss support I started back at ww a couple of weeks ago and have lost 3.2 kgs (which I think is about 7lbs) I have 7kgs (15ish lbs) to go . I haven't been well for the past week so have had no appetite but unfortunately I don't lose weight by not eating (my body stores it all - I think it's a side effect from having severe HG (morning sickness) during my pregnancies and my body thinks I'm starving it).

I really need to go back to the gym (my starjumps man)- haven't been in 6weeks - it's just so hot here and it's not airconditioned and dh has been on callout so I don't get much child free time (also no sewing time ). Excuse central

I want to be able to go swimming when I'm in Hawaii.....and that would mean I need to bare my mama body to the world (and actually buy a swimsuit ) and I want to look good in the pics from our trip

I need to lose weight and get back in shape really bad. Kind of the same thing with jham I lost all of my baby weight but stress of my father dying and taking care of my mom has made me put on a bunch of weight and I'm really sick of it! I'm headed back to WDW in October after being gone 8 years and I dont want to see some of my friends or be in pictures overweight!

So I'm totally on board with this. I'm doing WW but trying it on my own. My mom did it and I followed her and was able to lose 40lbs after my babies were each born but I'm having trouble sticking to it this time.

yea we will all be weight cheerleaders for each other. That rocks i mostly lurk on the weight thread and post my (weight loss or gain) on Friday but other than that i do not chat a whole lot .

I just got back registering my Camden for Kindergarten and on a good note i was also able to put him in all day Which he is gonna love and it will be a nice break for me so it will be just me and Mayson all day..

I totally remember making those vest in school too! Weren't they so much fun?!?! You should see the drawings she made on the back. so cute. she is going to be a little DISigner some day.
