I finally got a few of my Photopass pictures uploaded to Photobucket.

This is the whole group. My family is on the left. I made all the customs. I wish I had insisted that our DH's at least wear black, white or red.

th_image170.jpg

Here is one that shows DDs AK custom pretty well.

DS's pirate shirt. I also made DNiece and Dnephew's Mickey head shirts.

never even noticed the guys shirts ,,, cute pictures.

hey I say strut it with style! now that would be something to see walking down main street in disney!!!!! popcorn::

I have a feeling I'd end up on the "What were they thinking?" picture thread that was going on the Theme Park board if I were to do that. :lmao:

ETA: I'm off to bed to read my patterns.

No I cannot see him letting me do that. ;) He is a good sport I am not pushing the issue. I do not know many hubbies much less that do what he does for a living that you could get in even matching shirts 2x a day everyday for a 8 day trip. He is the one that told me to go ahead trace these in slick paint to make them look finished. I was afraid he would think they were to girly but was happy when he agreed. :)

th_image106.jpg

And then this one I know it looks weird he and the kids were playing pirates in line for philharmagic.
th_MK8114.jpg
it looks like you had a ton of fun love the shirts.

could you all please say some prayers or send some vibes my way if you are not a prayer. Silly request but ever since this nasty MRSA  came into our lives 2 1/2 wks ago I have become a germaphobe. I know there is nothing wrong with being clean, but I used to know that germs needed a home too. Well now it seems like all I do is clean, I can't get things clean enough and it is freaking me out. I like clean, don't get me wrong but I used to be able to sit down when DH would get home and just enjoy family time, not anymore. I feel all freaked out inside if a crumb is dropped. If I dont' lysol the laundry it isn't clean. :scared1: :scared1: The camodes get lysol sprayed on them after every use and get thoroughly liquid lysoled at the end of the day. I just want to be able to relax but I live in fear of this MRSA. Once you have it, it never goes away, it lays dormant and rears its ugly head whenever it wants to. I just want to be normal again. please. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:
prayers coming your way . i am so sick of being sick so i can understand why you are doing what you do i just wish i could be that way sometimes my house is still in need of a recovery from me being sick.. it is hard to do with 5 kids and something new keeps happening

Hi Ladies and Tom,

I love all of the new stuff. I really love all of the World pics with the matching outfits. I bet you were all the talk of Disney :goodvibes

Shameless mommy bragging will follow.... :)

My dd Leanne had a cheer competition last weekend. I am sure you all remember I posted the came in last in Indy a few weeks ago. Well- this weekend they came in FIRST place. I bought the CD of the entire weekends pictures so I have a few to share....

This is Leanne's favorite picture she thinks it looks like she is "flying".

This is Leanne pulling her bow and arrow. She is not quiet in it yet, but this is the best picture they took.

Leanne wanted me to share this one. She thinks she looks really cool:cool1:

Back on topic.... My sewing is coming along great. I have so much to share. I am getting a new laptop this week    I have so many pictures to share.

Thanks for looking at my bragging mommy posts :)
great pictures thanks for sharing.

OH! You mean a diaper pin!

Which is my highly effective red neck doo-dad! :rotfl2:
i second that until the pin opens up while working and you stab yourself..... i have also used a barrette

Ok, here is the patterns and material I bought today for my first official sewing project in 20+ years. I'll be making the short sleeve version of both. I'm not one for no sleeves. Eventually, I will make both long sleeve versions. I love those!

i have a ton of that too let me know what you come up with so i can CASE ya

Back to my trip report update...:surfweb:

The trick is to take it out of the dryer, then kind of wad it up into a big ball. Then, it will be all wrinkled and it is very easy to tell that you have washed it allready!

Happy to help! :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:rotfl: :rotfl: I wish I could do that. BUT NO! I have to iron it with magic sizing, fold it into an exactly precise size, and stack it neatly in my stash. :rotfl: :rotfl:

LMAO I was going to say I can always tell my washed fabric pretty sad huh? Besides doesn't your fabric get all stringy on the end when you wash it? Am I doing something wrong that is causing that?

Mine always get stringy. I cut it off with my rotary cutter before I start cutting it to sew.

First off it's great to know that someone else shares my laundry philosophy! Once I have washed my fabric it takes about 5 times the amount of space on a shelf as is did before it was washed!

A question? - Have any of the boutique sewers on this thread had any experience with Etsy? If you have could you please pm me???? I have some questions, but I don't want to get in trouble!

I'd love to know too. Have you heard anything yet?

LOVE the skirt, and love the pose.

Oh and to share I thought it was funny. DH was looking at the fabric I bought tonight and told me he was ok with whatever I decided for the Star Warz fabric he would be fine with as he liked that. :) He then looks at the whale fabric ... looks at me and looks back at the fabric. Why exactly did you get this again? I showed him the sailor hats on the whales and said since we are staying at the BC it would make cute fabric for first day. He says ummm I KNOW you are not planning on me wearing that anywhere right? I said yes Dear I kind of figured that. He then comes back and says you know it is great fabric if we have a GIRL but that is not boy fabric ... you do know that is not boy fabric right? LMAO. I was amused anyway. :P

That is REALLY funny! He doesn't want a whale shirt? It would be so cute! :rotfl: You DO know that's girl fabric, right? :rotfl: :rotfl:

No I cannot see him letting me do that. ;) He is a good sport I am not pushing the issue. What a handsome family! I think it's the first time I've seen pics! What DOES your DH do, btw?

OK, guys! I was last on 3 1/2 hours ago. In that amount of time, this thread has grown by 7 pages! It has taken me almost an hour of mostly skimming stuff to try to catch up. I don't know that I can keep up the pace. I'm gonna drop back for a while. I don't want anyone to think I'm upset, or that I'm gone (I'll pop in as I have time). But for a while, I may have to leave the reading behind, and only check out the photobucket account. Feel free to PM me at any time, even if you don't see me posting.

I guess I'm feeling pretty guilty about the amount of time I'm spending just trying to stay on top of this thread. My DD has a special day at preschool tomorrow. A day that I would usually have made something for her to wear. With obligations at work the last several days, I've not been able to pull something off. And then I think how much time I've spent here, and I know that I could have spent that time making something. So, I've gotta cut back. Hope you all understand.

DH is an pump truck supervisor in the oilfield. He has always made comments about if any of his operators knew half about his life and what he does for his girls he would catch a lot of flack. He is a good good guy. :goodvibes Both our girls can pretty much get away with anythign with him though.

I totally understand Shannon. Kiddos come first always. :) Hope she has a good special day though. :goodvibes

As for keeping up the only time I can is when everyone is out of the living room and I am at the computer. I usually skim when I come back. The other thread was much slower wasn't it?

Of course we understand, you know where we'll be when you have the time!
I love my safety pin. But make sure not to use the little cheap ones. I had one completely unbend straight!!! :rotfl:

You ladies have GOT to get a bodkin! They are cheap! Especially with a coupon! I use to use a bobby pin, barrette, safety pin or diaper pin, but I looove my bodkin! It makes elastic sooooooo much easier and faster to put in! With the time you save, you can spend more time on here!!! :rotfl:

Lacy, those cheerleading pictures!!! :scared1: They are great though!

Here is my bubba :cutie:

dd was on my lap and saw your dd and said pretty pretty- I have to agree what a cutie!!
So I went and bought a few things ... I have NO idea what I am going to do with a lot of it but I figure something will pop out at me eventually. :) It was on clearance and well I have issues. ;)

th_sewing031.jpg

Bunch of different color swirly fabric. Thinking I may use some of this on the little ones blanket.

sewing029.jpg

I bought four panels of the Frosty it was .90 a panel! Then I bought what was left of the star warz no clue about what I will do with it though.

th_sewing027.jpg

Then these. Revrob they still had about 2 to 4 yards of this left when I left. She said a lot of people had bought it today. There was a WHOLE bolt yesterday! Did you go to Kilgore lol.
I have to agree about having issue with clearance fabric & Reamnants too especially when they are 50-75% off- I can't stay away:rotfl:
I know what you can do with that star wars fabric ;) ;)
Did YOU have an antenna topper on top though!!! :rotfl:
Is that what those things are for???:lmao:

I can't keep up with this thread

I feel like I am drowning in all these post
Sorry to add to the problem, but we tend to go in spurts around here! It had been really slow! I'm sure it will slow down again. Don't get too overwhelmed!

wow i have that material also,,, ooh i am going to Hannah 3-D with jhammy THIS sat :scared1: Wow! i wonder if i could whip one of those up :confused3 probably not since mayson just busted my glasses....
